Attended a family wedding at this place. The accommodation can't be faulted. Very comfortable beds. All bedrooms en-suite. The whole house well fitted out with everything you need. The event barn houses everything under one roof, so the weather didn't spoil the atmosphere. Beautiful log Cabins, beautifully furnished. Small bar/restaurant at the reception area for those not wanting to self cater. The food was excellent. The venue is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Gorgeous wedding venue, unexpectedly great weather was a massive bonus. On the downside, no draught beer and the bottled beer was massively overpriced

I had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful Hidden River Barn wedding on the perfect summer day. The venue is absolutely stunning, I love all the dark and woody vibes inside. The staff were amazing nothing was a problem at all. Can't wait to be back next. Photos by Hemera Visuals.

This is a very beautiful place without question. I had the pleasure of staying recently to attend a wedding in the beautiful barn. I stayed in the West wing of the house which was very lovely. The towels, bath robes, products available were, without doubt, within the luxury range and I couldn't ask for more. However, our bedroom door did not even close as the catch was broken, the bathroom door lock also did not operate, one light bulb was out, the bedside light was loose and hanging in quite a precarious position, the shower fitting was loose on the wall and there was a chunk out of the toilet lid. There was no mirror or place to sit to dry hair in the room which I found rather irritating and I was really concerned about the security of my belongings as there was no way at all to secure our room. My work laptop, my car keys along with all of my personal belongings were very vulnerable which was such a shame. It feels that the ongoing maintenance is seriously lacking. There appears to be only one key to the entire property so it had to be left open at all times to enable the guests free access. Anyone could have wandered in and helped themselves to many many valuable things. It could be so easily rectified which I feel would complete the experience that is clearly the aim of the owners. I do not wish to be negative so I hope this review is taken in the intended manner of constructive criticism.

If you're looking for a stunning wedding venue this is it! This place has incredible backdrop for your wedding photographs. Staff is friendly and helpful. On top of that, food is just gorgeous.

Just got back from an amazing 3 day wedding in beautiful surroundings with first class accommodation. The wedding venue it self is outstanding and all the staff were delightful.

Where do I start, from the cabins to the wedding barn, staff and food it was beyond amazing. Everyone who came said it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to. The Greek sharing boards were so different from the usual wedding food and pizzas cooked fresh in the pizza ovens on the evening went down a treat. Plenty of staff serving at the bar, all young and friendly.
Thank you for making my daughter and son in laws day very special. X
