Terrible place, highly unprofessional staff.
Uneducated people pretending to be smart, I’ve had numerous issues with them over the years.
Try to avoid if possible.
I am actually considering reporting them to the head office.

Absolutely amazing place. Staff are so friendly and efficient. When I went in to post my little ones letters the service was amazing. She was so excited to be able to post letters to gran when couldn't see her. They took their time with her and asked her if she was excited to see gran again. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would highly recommend to anyone and with them being open late at night so convenient for people that finish work late and need to get things done.

Really wonderful service from the ladies behind the counter. Super helpful and friendly. Very convenient, there's parking. I recommend this post office very much.

Two particular employees in this Post Office, always seem to be on shift at the same time, both women in their late 50's. Awful attitudes!. I don't know if they are told to, or whether they just like to try and up-sell postage. More than one occasion (i.e all the time) I've gone in with a parcel on a Friday all prepared in advance with a Special delivery sticker on it, and knowing full well even though it's special delivery there's a chance it won't arrive until Monday, if it arrives Saturday then it's a bonus. Only to find without mentioning it or giving me options, I'm presented with a bill for the extra "Saturday guaranteed" figure. Basically they try and add this on every time hoping you don't notice. Same the amount of times I've gone in and requested 'recorded' delivery, and again witness them trying to charge me for "special" instead of recorded. I don't know if this is the two of these womens games/tricks they try on, or whether they are being forced to up-sell and do it badly, not sure, but I hate going to this Post Office. There is a slightly younger Asian lady on shift sometimes that I'm assuming is the manager. What a terribly negative attitude she has, just awful. I needed a clear customs envelope to pop my customs forms in to attach to one of my packages. She looked at me like I was dirt. How silly of me to expect a Post Office to have the little square clear "documents enclosed" envelope. I kind of understand. It's Abbeyview, not the best place to work in a Post Office. But they choose to work there!. They come across as jaded and depressed people. Just be on your toes if you have to use this place.

I've been using this Post Office for the past 12 months or so, and really can't rate the place HIGH enough!

The staff are always happy to explain the different services available and never fail to have the knowledge to answer any of my many questions.

No matter how busy the place gets, the professionalism and customer service shines through and in my eyes the staff are a true asset to the local community.

Not one to leave negative reviews, but wow, the manager/supervisor here really has an attitude problem.

Was advised that I needed a royal mail 'sack' to ship more than one order from my business with accompanying print outs and that I needed to order this from the royal mail. She could clearly understand the time intensive nature of business shipping, but left me with no clue how to acquire such an item and left me confused with no suggestions/alternatives.

Turns out that I did not need what she suggested - as expected - and shipped my orders without any hassle elsewhere. All of my packages were pre-paid on Royal Mail 'click and drop' and they only needed scanned in.

She was extraordinarily rude, couldn't have been any less helpful when asked a basic question and clearly couldn't be bothered to process my packages. All other members of staff here have been lovely in the past, but she had such a confrontational tone despite me being more than polite. Will be taking my regular business shipping and passing trade in the convenience shop elsewhere.

I went to Abbeyview Post Office today, for the first time, to renew my driver's license. I received excellent service from a lady called Patricia. She was very welcoming, kind and efficient. Although this is not my nearest post office, I would definitely recommend their service. Thankyou.

Excellent staff. Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble even when they are extremely busy.
