I visited this place recently to collect emirates ids. Usually crowded in the evenings. But they are very systematic and efficient in handling large crowd. The working time is from 8am to 8pm. They have enough parking space available inside the premises.
We can also apply international driving licence from this place. This central post offce is one of the oldest land mark in the area. Easy access from Abu Shagara, Bu Daniq, Gold souq, Jubail Bus Station and Rolla area. Since it is located on one side of the roundabout, we can access from 5 different routes.

The staff at the Post-office are very cooperative and friendly to assist the public. If the Management could do a study on the existing procedures, I am sure they would be able to identify at least certain areas where they could use modern machines such as X-Ray machines and so on, to get a faster turn out. Overall I am impressed by the staff's friendly dealing with the clients.

Impressive service to be honest.
I visited for collection of Emirates ID and things was done in no time. I think things are more organized and fast rather than the previous visit of mine couple of years before.
I have visited just for collection of Emirates ID only so my review is based on the same.
Free Parking for customers is available inside the premises itself, this makes visit more comfortable and hassle free , parking is huge enough that you will find a spot, it is mentioned half an hour parking for customers and I don’t think anyone will take more time than that here to compete something.

Photocopy facilities are available inside, token system is there, toilet facilities available and an ADIB atm was also seen in the parking lot just outside building exit.

Sharjah Head Post Office.We can send,receive shipments and documents.They have a Sharjah Customs terminal inside as well so they will scan the import shipments as well.

They have customer free parking available. Very friendly and supportive.. The waiting time is less than 5 minute.
