Past few orders, items have been missing and told at the door that they didn’t have the item in even though we sat and waited for over an hour for this order to then recieve half an order with no substitute for the missing item.

Then to ring and be told they rang me a few times even though no phone calls, love the food however so dissatisfied after the last few times let down and no substitute to the missing item. Any other place would substitute the missing item instead of disappointment at the door, if no one answered the phone then obviously I didn’t know the item was missing so surely the next logical step would be a substitute.

Regular customer very disappointed with service so won’t be ordering again.

I recently ordered a frappe milkshake for delivery. Unfortunately, what arrived was not what I was hoping for. As I was drinking the milkshake, I found pieces of plastic in it, which was incredibly disappointing and even more concerning that I had swallowed some.

To make matters worse, when I contacted the company, the response wasn't very apologetic or understanding. They seemed to be more concerned with deflecting blame and making excuses rather than addressing the problem and making things right. This lack of customer service only added to my frustration and disappointment.
To add to this I’ve not had any kind of apology over the phone only over Facebook.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would caution anyone considering ordering from this restaurant. There are plenty of other options out there that value their customers and take responsibility for their mistakes.

They had a great delivery system until today. We ordered the shakes and they never showed up so I'm guessing the owners don't care about customer retention anymore as they said the order was going to get delivered and never did. We placed the order at 7pm and now at 10.57pm when I'm writing this the order never arrived. Either the bar is trying to scam us or they didn't bother actually telling the driver to come and deliver the shakes after we called them at around 8.15pm. Worst service we ever had from you guys I'm very disappointed in the fact that the order never came and that we are going to get a refund from you. The bar is closed and we couldn't even get a refund so we got to wait till the 25/03 to actually be able to call and get the refund and find out what happened.

For anyone that is going to order from them online I recommend to spam call they if the order doesn't arrive in 1 hour as they probably forgot to deliver it or they are just trying to scam you of your money. Again I'm gonna say this but it was a very disappointing event and we didn't expect this from the shakes and cakes dessert bar team. I hope the team is happy with the fact that you might have lost some customers thanks for everything so far and have a good one.

Myself and my partner both had the new steak sandwich. We've both got up this morning feeling really ill. Dodgy belly and can't get off the toilet. Has anyone else been like this from last night? We honestly feel shocking, it's deffo shakes and cakes as we both had the same food and we hadn't had anything else that day. Sorry shakes and cakes but I will not be using you again

Ordered food tonight, waited well over an hour then got a text saying they had ran out of cheesecake, they shouldn't have confirmed the order if they couldn't provide what was ordered, however we opted for two other options. Another half hour or so went by and we were texted again saying they had no lids to food containers and asking if foil would be OK, we said that would be fine as we just wanted the food without further delay.
We placed our food order at 18.40 and by the time it arrived it was 22.15.
Not even an apology for messing us around for over two hours.
Ther service this place offers is an absolute joke, the attitude if the staff stinks.
Best advice I can offer is to spend your money elsewhere.

My desserts arrived hard and stale like they had been left out for hours physically couldn’t eat it after spending £17 and then also forgot to put my sauce pots in my order, I emailed to ask for a £15 refund back and got ignored ???? very very poor from shakes and cakes. Update, just got a text back from the “owner” Neil, and he said they always come cold when I never said anything about them being cold I said HARD AND STALE, so he cannot give me a refund, it’s poor and ridiculous no wonder all I’m seeing is 1 star reviews, not even asking for a full refund all I’m asking for is £10 or £15 refund and they can’t even do that ????????????????

Waited over an hour for 2 pots of strawberries and a milkshake it’s cost £26 and when I rang at 22.35 over an hour later the shop was shut. If they think that’s acceptable we will see how clever when they knock on door with a watery milkshake at 11 and I don’t answer coz I’m not paying for that! Absolute joke

Absolute shambles !!!!!!!
This place doesn’t even deserve the 1 star,
Placed the order and was advised 45mins, then advised 90mins
2hours 45 mins later still no order. Girl on the phone said it would be 15 mins longer so called back 45mins later to be told by another girl that they had had
“a few walk ins” and it would be cooking it next,

Just cancelled order to be told I’ll get money back in 3-5 days, but oh well, refund will probably arrive before the order.

Big shame because the food is spot on.
