This Bothy has three rooms 2 with fire place and one without, we went in summer so preferred pitching tent outside but in winter it will provide a warm stay.
Two fresh water sources nearby and lots of space to pitch tents.

It is not easy to reach, it has no facilities at all (it is a bothy!) apart from a roof and a couple fire places in different rooms, but that is part of the adventure. The area is absolutely stunning and beautiful. Both, the lake and the mountains, merge together beautifully, and the cottage is the perfect place to enjoy them both. I would suggest wearing reaaaaaally good hiking boots, specially if you are taking the dam route, or your feet will get wet in bog water in no time!

The Banter wi other climber,skiers,ramblers etc a place of safety when out on the mountains not for the faint hearted! Leave better than you found it is the motto!

This is definitely the best boothy we've visited during our trip across Scotland. It's not easy to access by a bike but it's worth it.
