We stumbled across this gem when we went for a stroll near Khorfakkan's old souq. Admission is very minimal but the amount of knowledge I got was great. You can learn about the City's and the region's rich history through the relics on display and stories of trade and war. If you're in the area, this is a very nice addition to your itinerary. I hope they can add more galleries in the near future. Their staff is very friendly and would gladly help you with any questions.

As directed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, Hisn Khor Fakkan was rebuilt to replicate the 1950s ـــ 1960s design of the original nearby fort, offering a unique opportunity to the public to enjoy this outstanding collection. The Museum opened on Saturday, 13th April 2019.

Stumbled across this beautifully restored fort on a Saturday afternoon - it is supposed to be open until 8pm. When we came around 6 It was almost empty. We were greeted very friendly by the local staff. The lady at the cashier explained the general rules and the gentleman went with us into the fort. He took the time to show us around and even opened for us the exit which leads to the old city wall (behind the fort) and he went with us to the top of the guard tower. We very much enjoyed his explanations and he went the extra mile opening also the windows for us and pointing out the strategic position of the fortress in combination with the other two towers (Al Rabi and Al Adwani). Lovely experience and highly recommendable!

We visited the cafe and soft play last week while staying in Oban. What a lovely little gem. Great space downstairs for the whole family with coffee, tea, cakes and food. Upstairs an excellent soft play and play area. Our five years old boy loved it. The only downside to this place - was it was freezing, but not much they could do about it—great experience overall and had friendly & professional staff.

Great dog friendly café. They also have a "pay it forward" coffee scheme for anyone struggling with the cost of living. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Went in on a Saturday morning for breakfast but they only do hot rolls which was fine so ordered a bacon roll and roll n square sausage for my partner. 1 slice of bacon and the square was half cooked and like mush. Shame as it was decent the last time we were there.

Nice little cafe with a coffee shop feel. We were there about an hour before closing. The wife and I both ordered a burger, but the only had one left. The wife got a BLT instead. Her sandwich and my burger with both very good. We got some drinks and cakes.

I googled best coffees in Oban and this Bridge Cafe came up. Super good coffee and today's "soup of the day" pea & ham soup was awesome - I think it must be Granny's recipe. Quick service too. Tucked away but handy for Tesco car park. Quite a Tardis inside with plenty space, tables and seats including some comfy sofas. Order at the counter or from your table. Lovely friendly service staff with a welcoming friendly atmosphere. You shouldn't leave Oban without visiting here.

Well worth a visit nice clean place, lovely staff good food at a reasonable price. Dealt with dietary requirements without issue. Will definitely be back

Great place tucked out of the way and allows dogs in with their owners
