Pakistani Restaurant with reasonable price available. Parota, Aloo Parotas are main dishes. One aloo parota and tea cost me 4 aed.

Busy charging place. Like others have mentioned, only 1 connector per charger works. On a Friday morning, I had to queue for about an hour to be able to charge. Two cars were charging when I arrived and 3 more were waiting. Looks to be a popular place for taxi drivers working the Stansted airport.

The place is a bit tight to manoeuvre, being at the end of a one way lane with a lot of traffic coming from the rest of the parking lot.

Bottom line, be prepared to wait if you want to use this one.

This place its a nightmare to get in and out of, too busy in the summer. Needs a hub of at least 12 chargers. Avoid if you can at peak times.

A call to gridserve reveals that the two ccs charging station can only cable at a time. We were charging, went for coffee, came back. Another car has picked up the other cable and charging swapped to their car.

Then the post errored, and stopped working altogether. Not great.

I did not see signs to where this was. Also the unit that I used has two CCS2 chargers, but only one can be used at a time. That should be fine so long as the space next to it is also for charging. The other space has on CCS2 (and a TESLA charger I think). It was a bit fraught getting to use it as I came at a busy time and that is why the space next to it could be used as a reserve. The lead from the pictured unit can stretch across for many EV’s. Other than those minor issues, great charging experience.

Seriously, 2 chargers available on a motorway service area adjacent to Stanstead Airport….5 cars waiting. Only one charger can be used because of the layout - avoid if possible

For this site only 3⭐️ this time i'm affraid. I always give Gridserve higher ratings not this time, for some reason the chargers would not except dual charging hence a bit of a queue.

If you charge allone is not that bad ,but if someone charge with you on same station the time of charging will be double , you have 2 hours free parking in there wich is plenty of time to charge your battery full from 0 ,also plenty of facilities 2ich are a little bit expensive,I will say the same thing about the price of charging wich is £0.65/kWh..In rest all good and clean at this charging station.

Neither charger was working on 5 March 2023. Simply not good enough!
