Fab experience from start to finish. Great communication From P&O for the booking. Easy online booking. Easy to parking right beside the ship and not expensive (£10 per day).

The check in and passport control was a breeze and so professional.

Once in the ship the crew were super helpful and I found my cabin(which was small but clean) easily.

The ship is a little dated but looks good and was immaculately clean.

The food was pre-booked in the kitchen (all you can eat) for £33 which included evening meal and breakfast was of a good standard and a great choice of options.

Three bars (skyline, Irish bar and the showroom) were all really good with entertainment for all ages.

The alcohol was slightly expensive but tbh that is expected. But a late nite pizza for €8:99 was really good value.

The duty free was modern and much cheaper than the airport so I would not miss the bargains.

There is so much more I could say but for £190 for two nights on the ship, all the food, transfers to and from Amsterdam and the entertainment this is a real bargain.

I would highly recommend it.

Well done P&O

Travelled twice now with P&O and both times had no problems, the second time we upgraded our room and it was definitely worth it for the double bed and TV and of course the mini bar (which was refilled for the trip back ????) we upgraded our breakfast but I didn't feel this was worth it to be honest as you can only pick one thing off the menu but if we hadn't upgraded we would have had all you can eat but still the breakfast was nice and for the price during the cheaper season you can't complain and I will be definitely travel with P&O again for a cheeky trip to Amsterdam.

Outbound to Rotterdam wasn't good - we had a double-bed Club Cabin situated on deck eight which was very noisy, being closer to the engines and the car deck car alarms.
The cabin wasn't anywhere near as comfy or convenient as our deck ten Premier Cabin on the return. The latter had handy low level and main lighting switches between the beds that were missing on the 'posh' one. In addition, the mini-bar was a waste of space with very poor quality wine - The moral is, don't waste your money.
On the good side, Hull and Rotterdam ports are easy to access and queue-free, unlike Calais, although the Dutch traffic was a bit fierce. Even though we travelled mid-afternoon from 'sHertogenbosch, we still met standing queues.
We can recommend Brielle as an interesting town just 15 minutes from Europort where you can get a coffee and a snack before a traffic-free sprint to the port.
A big thumbs up to the Malaysian(?) staff on the ferry who are unstintingly kind, friendly and helpful, unlike the Brits.

travel from Rotterdam to Hull went OK, good organisation of all logistics involved, even for unexperienced ferry-travellers.
But once on the boat, it's a total rip-off. You are of course in a perfect 'tourist trap', so prices sky-rocket.

Wine served in unmarked and marked glasses. Clearly different amounts and @£10 a glass?
Vehicle damaged on car deck by securing chains hitting rear bumper. Info’d crew weren’t on that loaded it and would be reported. Large wagons containers and buses trying to get off so couldn’t hang around. Reporting it will take up a lot of time and effort and probably not worth it but vehicle owners should wait and see their vehicles and those surrounding secured before they leave the HGV deck.
On positive side cabin was excellent and steward very good.

The Ferry crossing from Rotterdam to Hull was very well organised for embarking & disembarking & the crossing was smooth. The vessel itself was excellent with food outlets, duty free, various bars & entertainment if you wanted it. Our dinner & breakfast in the 'Kitchen' was excellent, lots of choice, well cooked & hot. The only thing we were dissapointed with was the cleanliness of the 2 berth cabin, small desk was sticky with cup/glass rings on it & the toilet around the seating/lid fixings was not clean, looked like urine splashes on it. Next time we will books bigger cabin as my 70 year old husband although a very fit cyclist, found climbing up & down to the top bunk rather difficult.

We arrived by coach. Very helpful desk staff, helped us get through customs checks as quickly as they could. Pointed us in the right direction. Boarding by foot, lifts and escalators helped. On board, staff really friendly and efficient. Prices on board very reasonable. The Bistro has great food. Cabins very clean and comfortable. Shower, loo etc very easy to use. Hot water is really hot.. I'd definitely recommend this route to Holland and praise the staff for their help and kind consideration to our coach party.

First time we used this crossing instead of Chanel tunnel and I have to admit it is much better choice we will use it again.
