I bought tickets online for the pantomime and foolishly booked for the matinée, when I wanted to go on the evening. I called into the box office two days before the event and, despite there only being 2 staff in duty and they were busy, they were kind, courteous and helpful. RRussell

Always park at Corran Halls when visiting Oban and often were able to use the toilets in the hall. WC is shown on the signs for the car park after all. Was there last week in August and on first visit used the toilets no problem. Next time went to use and the hall staff had put a sign outside saying no public access to toilet and directing people to the public toilets on North Pier, 15/20 minute’s walk away and where it costs 50p to get in! Not funny if you’re desperate!
If the public are now not allowed to use the Hall’s toilets, is there another nearby and if not why is it still shown on the signs for the car park?

1st time there..I was at a Paolo Nutini gig ....fantastic gig , bar seemed well run and friendly....yeah I would defo return

The Premier Hall in Oban and North Argyll. Built in the 60's and off its time. Wood lined biggest capacity hall for the area ~ 600 standing and slightly less seated. Big stage area and good lighting and sound. But the staff are the key ~ nothing is too much trouble for the visiting artiste. The smaller studio theatre offers tiered seating for 120 (the bigger hall does too for smaller 200 ~ 300 events) and is a cosy setting for theatre and music. The room upstairs, the McCaig room, completes the conference rooms options. From James and The Enemy, via the Proclaimers way back to the Troggs ~ they have all played the Corran Halls. Many as a tour beginning warmup for the bigger events to follow. The other night I attended Manran, one of the many Traditional Scottish folk bands to have visited ~ The Corran Halls made their Tour finale perfectly complete.

Didn't visit the halls but parked in the car park - perfect when with a group of 4 cars as there's so much space and it's an easy walk into Oban. Will use it again in future.

My wife and I attended the Del Amitri concert at Corran Halls on 16/10/21. I had been planning this for a little while as my wife is disabled and I try to cover all eventualities to ensure, wherever possible, nothing can get in the way of my wife’s experience and enjoyment. I found contact with the Halls staff prior to the event to be reassuring that there was a dedicated area for disabled and carers so we could enjoy the event. But, in my and my wife’s experience, when you have a standing event those who can’t stand have to be at the front or on a raised platform. We were neither. A taped off area half way down one side of the Hall was deemed to be sufficient. I’m sorry! It wasn’t! I saw a number of patrons using the area leave early. We didn’t, because we really like the band who sounded great. We are not sure what they looked like because we saw very little of them. Leaving the venue was also somewhat intimidating for my wife as the lack of control at the exits mean it was a bit of a crush. That is really scary when everyone around you is towering over you. I wonder how the able bodied patrons would have felt if they were surrounded by people 8 feet tall. Think on Argyll & Bute Council (I have a short video to highlight the problem, but was unable to upload it). We will not be using this venue again.

It's a good venue, what more to say? Very flexible as a place for training workshops, conferences large and small and food expos. Perfect venue for Oban and the area. Staff are helpful and friendly. Coffee let it down.

Went here to see the kooks as a visitor to Oban I was not impressed. Had to walk back into the town as they don’t take card? Clearly behind times.
The security staff were lovely and helpful apart from one woman who was rude and was screaming the place down clearly not a people person.
Waited 30 minutes to get servered a drink when we finally got our drink we were met with the walking dead clearly someone who didn’t enjoy there job and was really rude.
Could do with a update.
But enjoyed the band
