I was looking for lightning shape buttons for a Harry potter themed waistcoat for a customer when a friend suggested The Makery in Dunbar. After a few email exchanges Emma had created the perfect design and size for the project. One of the staff, Jennifer, suggested making matching cufflinks which my client loved! A big big thank you to all of you for helping making it amazing!

Love love love my little iridescent ghost earrings. Bought them in Edinburgh and the salesperson was lovely. My friend also bought items and loves them too.

Always worth a browse. The art never fails to impress me. Hence why I now own 4 of the layered card framed art pieces, one of the cheery rainbows and Christmas ornaments.

First time visit to Dunbar today and popped into The Makery where we ended up buying three amazing koi carp and wave themed framed prints.

The owner could not have been any nicer or more accommodating whilst we made our choice, allowing us to line up various combinations of different prints on her table before purchase. There’s also an excellent selections of cards, jewellery and laser cut prints so check it if you’re looking for something original.

Always a joyful visit, Emma and Nem make you feel most welcome. Today they were designing and making some spooktacular Halloween jewellery - more earrings had to be added to my collection! Thanks guys ❤

I’ve bought numerous items as gifts, and in every instance, the jewellery receives very positive comments, and enquires, to where it was purchased. Lots of fabulous designs, some with added humour. Always eye-catching and much variation in materials and colourways. Source Design is my go to for a funky, well designed gift!
