Lava & Chai has been my favorite place on campus, but I’ve been disappointed with the quality of products lately. Coffee is never hot enough, croissants are ALWAYS old and stale, orders get messed up regularly… I miss the pre-pandemic days. Bring back Ravi, Rojita, Abbia and Darwin, please! They knew how to run that place like the 5-star coffee shop it should be!

I love Kava and Chai! With it being so hard to get off campus some days, these guys are a life-saver. Ravi especially has been so welcoming and friendly, demonstrating effective knowledge of his craft and excellent customer service. I also really enjoy the environment here - super chill and great for studying or having a conversation. The student discount also makes this the most affordable specialty coffee I’ve found yet.

Their hot latte is exceptional. Such a cozy environment and a hospitable staff (make sure to say Hi to Rositta and Ravi). Hands down my favorite chilling area on campus. I just wish they operated longer hours. I always give 4 stars because there's always room for improvement.

Love the food and the sweetest and nicest service !! Rojita and ravi are very friendly and bring a smile to your face!! Also Darwin makes the yummiest smoothies. Very recommended :)

Amazing Karak Chai and cookies, The employees Ravi and Rojita are very kind and polite.

However it'd be great if there were more offers and the prices for the tea was reduced

Great atmosphere and even greater coffee. I’d recommend the lattes and vegan chocolate chip cookies. Side note: Rojita from the AUS branch is so friendly!

Some of the greatest staff, some of the tastiest foods, and some of the best coffee!
The environmental is very welcoming, giving you a cultural feel while sipping your specialty-made coffee.
The food variety is great for a cafe. Croissants, cakes, cookies, salads, sandwiches, all incredibly tasty.
And there's nothing better than waking up early in the morning, having Rojitha give you a warm welcome, seeing Suja make his delicious Kava and Chai Latte, Abia heating up the food with the biggest smile, and Darwin's incredibly sweet welcoming!
Top all of that with the variety of music from classical Arabic to Jazz, and then there's nowhere else I'd rather be in the morning.
Tip: try the Kava and Chai Latte!

a lovely & cozy place with really friendly staff . it's design makes it a great meetup place. If you like sweet drinks I recommend my favorite PEACH ICED TEA!
