The idyllic location for a place to stay in the Scottish Highlands. When I thought of staying in the countryside in Scotland this is exactly what I pictured in my mind. We stayed here 2 nights as part of a Trafalgar Tour in June 2023. The views from our room's windows were completely stunning. It is peaceful, quiet, and perfect location to sit, relax, and soak in the surrounding countryside. The patio offers a nice place to be in solitude, enjoy nature, unwind, relax, read a book, or just look at the countryside and forget your worries.

The bar is well stocked and located in an area that is warm, inviting, and where you can sit and enjoy your favorite beverage and have conversations with friends or new acquaintances as though you are over at your friend's home.

Our room was clean and the room fresh smelling when we arrived, and the linens on the bed were crisp. Bathroom was spacious, spotless and modern for a hotel of this age.

We enjoyed 2 great breakfasts which included a wide range of food including sausages, eggs, toast, cereals, ham, and hashbrowns, plus 2 dinners that were some of the best we had while in Scotland.

The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, and treated us better than my own family does when I stay with them.

If I ever return to Scotland, this will be the #1 place I want to stay. I just wish we could have stayed here another day or two.

How delightful! We stopped here for two nights while on a tour and really enjoyed the charm and views. The food and service were excellent. Yes the water pressure was a little low but, manageable. Our room and view were so wonderful. Would recommend a stop here to recharge and enjoy some quiet.

My accommodations, experiences with staff, and the food - were excellent. I traveled to Scotland on Trafalgar and we stayed two nights. The setting and views are beautiful, peaceful, and I could have stayed right there with a coffee and a book for a week. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. As a vegetarian, I was provided with veggie options and the food was wonderful. This was a highlight on my tour. Thanks so much to the staff for a wonderful visit!

Great experience and stay! Views are amazing and the staff very attentive.
Some of the not so great things about it is water pressure is not very good or the shower water not too hot. The floors on the 2nd floor are extremely squeaky, but I wouldn't give this b&b anything less than a 5*....the service and experience were just perfect!!

We stayed here for two nights and the rooms were spacious and clean! Nice big beds ????. The hotel has so much character, and pockets of spaces to relax and do things. The service was wonderful, friendly staff and very helpful. Such a warm welcome. We also dined at the restaurant for a night and the food was amazing! I thought my chicken was cooked to perfection ????. It was also my son’s birthday and the staff very kindly surprised him with cake, candle and singing which was very thoughtful and kind, we really hope to come back. Laggan was beautiful too, we enjoyed the open air museum which had a theatrical display of the Jacobite war during the period of 1745/46. Lovely ????????

Excellent hotel, staff were extremely welcoming. Arrived early for check in which was no problem. Very attentive throughout whether it be for more drinks or catering to our vegetarian/vegan food requirements (unusual for somewhere so remote) , great variety for both dinner and breakfast, great portions.
Rooms were excellent, clean and fairly modern.
Couldn’t have asked for a better or more relaxed stay. Thank you to all the staff, will definitely be back!

This was a really great place to stay in. Lovely welcome when we arived, the hotel room was comfortable bed was really large and had such a good sleep. ????????

The food was great, really lovely meal we had at night and back in again at breakfast time to get a lovely cooked breakfast.

Lovely stay, really enjoyed our time here. Lovely!
