Big changes. I was here a year ago and everyone had to huddle in a small area near the waterfall to take a photo. This time I saw a large observation deck in front of the waterfall and a landscaped area. This time I was on a weekday and there was no one. By the way, this is an artificial waterfall, but it looks beautiful

Located at the road side, we came to visit with family. This artificial waterfalls is amazing knowing how they gave efforts just to build this place. one of the best place to visit and enjoy the breeze of the water on road side. You can take selfies just right down of the falls and can be seen the place also even just passing by from the road. Looking forward to visit this place again????????

Nestled within the rugged landscapes of the United Arab Emirates, the Kharfookan Waterfalls captivate visitors with their awe-inspiring beauty and serene atmosphere. Being one of nature's hidden gems in this desert paradise, these waterfalls offer a refreshing escape from the bustling city life. If you are seeking a tranquil getaway or an outdoor adventure, Kharfookan Waterfalls should definitely be on your bucket list.

An hour's drive from the city center, the journey to the waterfalls is an experience in itself. Passing through scenic valleys and mountains, the awe-inspiring views of the Hajar Mountains will leave you breathless. The location remains relatively undiscovered by tourists, giving visitors a sense of exclusivity and a chance to truly connect with nature.

It's worth mentioning that during the hot summer months, the water volume might be reduced, but even then, the natural beauty of the surroundings remains captivating.

Located in the eastern part of the United Arab Emirates, the Khorfakkan Waterfalls offer a refreshing and enchanting escape from the desert landscape that dominates the region. Nestled amidst the rugged mountains of the Al-Hajar range, this natural gem is a true oasis of tranquility and beauty.

The journey to the waterfalls is an adventure in itself, as you wind through scenic roads, passing by picturesque villages and breathtaking vistas. Upon arriving at the destination, you are greeted by the sight and sound of cascading water, creating a mesmerizing symphony of nature.

The waterfalls consist of a series of cascades that flow down the mountainside, forming pools of crystal-clear water. The lush greenery surrounding the falls adds to their allure, creating a serene and idyllic ambiance. It is a perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature, relax, and rejuvenate.

One of the highlights of visiting the Khorfakkan Waterfalls is the opportunity to swim in the refreshing pools. The water is cool and invigorating, providing a respite from the heat of the desert. It's a unique experience to swim amidst the stunning natural surroundings, feeling the gentle spray of the falls and listening to the symphony of water and nature.

For those seeking adventure, there are several hiking trails in the area that allow you to explore the surrounding mountains. These trails offer breathtaking views of the landscape, and the journey to the top is rewarded with panoramic vistas of the waterfalls and the Gulf of Oman beyond.

The facilities at the Khorfakkan Waterfalls are basic but sufficient. There are shaded areas and seating where visitors can relax and enjoy a picnic amidst nature. It's advisable to bring your own snacks and water as there are limited options available on-site.

One aspect that could be improved is the signage and information provided at the site. While the locals are friendly and helpful, there is a lack of clear directions and detailed information about the trails and safety guidelines. It would enhance the visitor experience if there were better signposts and informative boards to guide and educate visitors.

Overall, the Khorfakkan Waterfalls are a hidden gem that offers a unique and memorable experience. Whether you seek relaxation, adventure, or a connection with nature, this serene oasis delivers. With its stunning natural beauty and tranquil ambiance, it's a must-visit destination for nature lovers and explorers alike. Just be prepared for a bit of an adventure to reach this hidden treasure.

If your around. Great to see. But not something you want to drive to, to visit.
We just drove by and I was looking for real waterfalls. But the waterfall wall in Dubai mall is better. ????

I recently visited a man-made waterfall in Khorfakkan and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The waterfall is located next to the famous Amphitheatre and there is ample parking available. The fact that it is also located opposite a beach adds to the overall charm of the place.

The waterfall itself is a beautiful sight to behold and it was great to see such a good effort by the government to create this attraction. It's a friendly place to visit and enjoy the breeze, especially on a hot day. I highly recommend visiting this attraction if you're in the area.

Overall, I was impressed with the man-made waterfall in Khorfakkan. It's a great example of the UAE government's commitment to providing unique attractions for visitors to enjoy.
