A good pit stop, quickly welcomed and shown to my room. It was certainly small but after only paying £25 for a single night stop I cannot complain and got what I paid for. I only take a star off due to the fact my room didn’t have a window I could open - but by the looks of it I was staying in a loft conversion so not to shocked about that.

The stay was pleasant, the hosts were lovely people. The only issue was the actual room and cleanliness. There were visible carpet stains, rubbish on the floor, there was even a little bit of blood on one of the pillows, stains on the walls, dead bugs on the window and little hairs all over the bed. After laying down for a while my whole body needed scratching and little bubbles started to form on my skin. I was scared of bed bugs but didn’t spot any. The bathroom was shared and clean enough but there was no hand wash nor any shampoo or shower gel provided. Overall the only problem was the standard of the cleanliness of the room. Even for that price it is not worth it unless it is a desperate situation. Thank you.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. If you were expecting the Hilton, you’re choosing the wrong places. Well priced for a festival visit, I’ve only marked it down due to the lack of towels in our room and toilet roll in the loo. We did ask but nobody ever came up with it (although it was rammed in the pub).

Positive: It was cheap and available at short notice n the right location. Staff were excellent. Free parking. Negative: 1.Room was above bar with loud,music til 10:30pm. 2.Mattress on y bed was like a bag of springs. I had bad shoulder the next day. New mattress is not expensive! 4.Shred bathroom was disgusting mould and dust everywhere.

Positive: We knew from reviews the hotel was basic, and this was ok with us. The location near the train was great. The pun staff were kind. Negative: The hotel has a dangerous exit. In the morning, we tried to leave but the door was extremely jammed and unopenable. We had to fiddle with it for 5-10 minutes to get out, and there were no other exits. This is INCREDIBLY unsafe in an emergency situation!

Room was disgusting. Bed bugs everywhere and some of them huge! Poor selection of drinks. Bar was void of life and the floor and tables were very sticky.

Staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable and very well priced. It might not be luxury, but the prior negative reviews seem unnecessary to me.

Another rubbish pub. Why can't you offer a decent selection of beer? I understand that some are too lazy to offer cask ales but you could at least have a a keg IPA /Golden ale and no reason why can't have a choice of bottles. Poor.
