Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the service was absolutely top notch. The food was also fantastic, and the portion sizes are very generous. Thee is a very pleasant and large garden to sit in when the weather is kind.

Lovely place, stopped here on a motorbike ride with my wife, to see the falls. Good little work out getting down to the falls and back up again. Worked up a good hunger, and good thing the hotel was there. Had the burger, absolutely delicious, and well worth the money. Service was very friendly and didn't have to wait long for our food.

I visited the cafe. The location is lovely. There is seating inside and outside both allowing our family furry friends in. Service is friendly and quick to make sure you have what you ordered. I have been before and the cakes were great. Today the cakes were gritty and sweet. But don’t let that put you off coming to a decision. I am going back ????

I’ve stopped here 3 times now and every stay has been fabulous. This is a beautiful country hotel in the centre of Heartbeat Country.
The hotel has a warm welcoming feel, the rooms are very tastefully decorated and the staff are super friendly.
Outside is a spacious garden area with views of open countryside.

Much more than a 3 star hotel. Warm, cosy, comfortable, amazing food and reasonable prices. Great service. So quiet for sleeping. Lovely views, even from the bathroom. Highly recommend room 10. Like being in a Scottish hotel without having to travel as far. Definitely recommend! And the walk to the waterfall must be done, but bring sturdy boots!

What can I say.. what an incredible experience the whole hotel was beautiful and clean the staff where so friendly and welcoming nothing was to much trouble.the food in the bar and restaurant was amazing. Set in the village where heartbeat was filmed.the church just across from the hotel was beautiful and the sound of the church bells was just perfect.would most definitely recommend

Great food, great service and great prices. Not forgetting the location, probably one of the prettiest villages in Yorkshire. A must for any Heartbeat fans!!

Had a beautiful meal here on Monday 20th March. Such a lovely dining room, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Definitely would come and stay in the hotel next time we are up on the Moors.,
