Fun day out! The place is small but there is so much to see we spent easily nearly 2 hours looking around! The lizards are great and nice to see some frogs. Most of the birds and a couple lizards are allowed to roam around free from their cages so if your an animal lover these little guys do get a lot of free roaming space which is great! The staff are very friendly and even helped us spot some of the more difficult animals to find. The family deal is pretty reasonable for the times (2023 at £45). Definitely recommend visiting. So long as the price does not go up I would love to come back in future too!

A wonderful day out for people of all ages! Enough to spend a good few hours there - although probably not a whole day. The first two greenhouses are filled with really beautiful plants and animals, but heading through to the third, the rainforest really comes alive with free roaming birds and animals, including a gorgeous sloth and incredibly tame tropical birds.

The exhibits are all wonderfully and very naturally maintained, and all the staff are very friendly and highly knowledgeable, especially with kids.

I'd hugely recommend getting a season ticket if you live nearish, as many plants and exhibits change with the seasons.

A lovely gift shop, clean loos, nice restaurant and an outdoor kids play area rounds out a visit nicely.

Fantastic experience at the living rainforest, great variety of flora and fauna from around the globe. Turtles, Sloths, Toucans, Amphibians, all sorts! We went as a completely adult group and had a cracking time. Need 2 hours to take it all in.

Lovely day out at the living rainforest. We got annual tickets and are looking forward to returning. So worth it for the price, as many places will charge this for a single entry. Only takes about an 1hour to walk around but can be made much longer if spending time to look and read information around. Definitely worth looping round a second time (after a trip to the park if you have kids) and you will see things you missed the first time. Mr 3 loved his time there. Hopefully next time we visit there will be butterflies and more flowers, maybe we will even get a proper look at cinnamon the sloth who was hiding very high in a tree barely noticeable. Activity packs are well worth adding to the experience when taking kids or even just as something extra to do on the way around as adults to get you thinking and helping you not to miss things.

Really good hour out. Very different to anywhere we had been before. The staff were limited so impossible to ask any questions really. Also lots of the animals were on there own. Don't know if I like that but that's me personally. Worth a visit if in the area.

You will need to book tickets in advance. It's a small place with two little areas. They recommend wearing a mask but it's very hot inside.

Some animals are roaming loose which is nice.

Staff are quite informative and passionate about the animals they take care of. Small café, gift shop and outside area to play/sit at.

At the moment they only offer morning or afternoon sessions and you need to be in, at least one hour before closing as they do a deep clean between 12.30-1pm (but they said this may change in the near future).

I would recommend doing one trip round, take a break at the cafe and cool down, then go round again. We saw so many animals differently on both times so its worth doing. You really need to look around you and not kust in the cages as they're really everywhere! (The first time the sloth was hiding in the tree, the second time she was hanging about by the stairs).

Not too many animals and very quick to go around so quite pricey for an hour out. However it’s a lovely thing to do with children and they really enjoyed it.

Great place to bring to our little one, kept him entertained as most of the animals were wondering around free. Doesn’t take too long to wonder around the whole place.
