What a fabulous experience on a pedal boat today..it was so peaceful and beautiful on the river and the kids really enjoyed the experience. Paul and Mary were so friendly and helpful. We were lucky that Captain Sparrow was visiting today and the boys were very excited to get a pirate boat ride with him to see some beautiful waterfalls.

Excellent experience using the boats. The bloke who runs it is really nice and the price is good too. Our two year old loves it.

Matlock Bath illuminations was a average display of fireworks lasting for 10 minutes

My friend and I took a trip on the electric boat 'Meghan' with guide and captain Paul. £5 each, and we travelled upriver to see one waterfall and downriver to another, about 30mins in total.
Paul was a font of interesting local and ecological knowledge and very kind and polite. It was a lovely way to enjoy Matlock Bath and got us away from the crowds on a busy Saturday afternoon. The waterfalls were beautiful and the river very peaceful. I heartily recommend treating yourself to this experience. (Disability friendly and value for money.)

Had an awesome few hours in the rowing boats from what I remember it is the people from the Matlock Bath Venetian Boat Builders Association who set it up, they are a great bunch of people really friendly even got told a bit of the history to why the Matlock illuminations take place, they have a place to store personal items like coats and bike helmets. Well worth the visit for not just couples but families too.

Really nice and polite. Good price. We went with our dog and had a great time. The owner was lovely and nothing was to much trouble.
