Received an email informing the surfing sessions pre- booked not available due to technical problem. I am due to stay at the Hilton in 3 weeks with my teenage grandchildren which left me concerned. I sent an email and followed up with a telephone call later in the day. Kay answered and dealt with all my concerns in a professional manner, booking a day of alternative activities and refunding the balance. Things happen out of a Company's control which can be frustrating but having it handled in such a positive and personal way was impressive. I am looking forward to my holiday again all thanks to the excellent customer service.

I visited here for a birthday trip with my wife. The whole place is super impressive. Great staff, good food, great atmosphere and brilliant waves.

We stayed over in a lodge and used the hot tubs. Having friendly waves and good food on your doorstep coupled with the brilliant location and stunning scenery was next level

I took a lesson while i was here, the instructors were pleasant and personable. They took a real interest in my surf level and were not only on hand for the dry lessons part, but came in the water and offered advice and guidance while i was surfing, even shouting encouragement from the water edge.

Between this and other wave pools in the country, i would come back here every time. No competition, even if its not the current wave pool tec, the wave options are good, and it's everything you need

A decent experience and our kids (two 13 year olds and a 9 year old) really enjoyed the beginner waves and climbing sessions. However it could definitely have been improved. I know we didn't book a tuition session (as none were available on the day when we came to book) so we were not expecting tuition but the staff did assume that we knew exactly what to do and gave precious little guidance. You had to ask very basic questions to get even the most straightforward of information. For the indoor climbing session, this was due to start at 2pm and we were advised to arrive 15 minutes beforehand to get set up. The instructors barely arrived at 2 o'clock and then took at least 10-15 minutes getting everyone sorted. So the hour session was effectively 40 minutes. We have had better value climbing elsewhere.

Long story as short as possible. Purchased a Virgin experience voucher, booked for August 2022. Night before the surfing lesson, was told surf machine broken and I could come back when it was fixed in 2023 for the original surf lesson, plus X amount on a gift card to experience other things as compensation for the inconvenience as I had travelled a 6 hour round trip and booked accommodation for two nights.
Confirmed in writing, over the phone, and then in person when we dropped by to see the facility.

Come June 2023 when I try to book what was given to me to be told 'No offer like this would have been made'. I even sent them the email they had sent me as proof that this was the offer I was given. They told me the only thing I could use was the gift voucher and I couldn't have my original lesson as planned unless I used the gift card on it. Customer service is absolutely appalling, it has taken almost two months to resolve the issue as they refused to give original offer and just gave a small amount extra on the gift card to try to get me to stop emailing them.

Tried to get a refund for my Virgin experience voucher from Virgin, to be told that Surf Snowdonia had semi-claimed it so it's stuck in limbo. All Surf Snowdonia had to do was fully claim it and I could have had my surfing lesson, then I could have used the gift card for the extra experiences. AS ORGINALLY PROMISED.

They have been a nightmare to deal with, and I refuse to visit their facility and will never recommend them. It would seem from reviews on here that their customer service is going downhill fast.

Stunning location. Well maintained site. The shower and toilet block very clean and tidy. I liked the pod, but let down by an incredibly thin mattress, which really hurt my back ????. Also, only 1 electric socket that was fitted at floor level under the bed, so was not very accessible. Top tips....bring your own mattress and a multi plug power line

I think the staff at this facility need to either be retrained on how to behave toward customers or look for other jobs outside of the service industry.

We were left completely to our own devices at the facility and got no help when it was our turn to ride the waves. We missed fifteen minutes of a 1 hours session as we had no clue where we were supposed to go once we picked out boards up.

My daughter, who is 11, got zero help from any staff and got nervous and was too scared to enter the water as we had no clue what we were doing. We were the only beginners there and so had no idea what we should do as we had no one to follow...

Bring your own food and beverage unless you like frozen pizza or beer served with a attitude....

Found out on the day of travel that the wave machine was broken. This is out of their control so not fair to base a review on (although it seems to be a fairly regular issue).
What I find diabolical is their lack of response and notification of refund. Was told that we couldn't have money refunded into bank account as it was purchased through a voucher. No notification of voucher being credited either though.
I'm not sure how this operation is being run, or how it has any future with the processes they have in place.

The WORST experience I've ever had, we booked the zip line and the sign stated you had it had a max capacity of 110kg and when we got to the till the man said the weight limit was 96kg (my 6ft 2 boyfriend was slightly over) we asked for a refund and they said no, they will give us a gift voucher which I doubt we will even receive after the way the manager spoke to us, like it was our fault saying ' no refunds on the day' when it was not our fault.
Well that's £60 + petrol down the drain, really making peoples bank holidays during a cost of living crisis ????
and the worst customer service I have ever received. Do not recommend!
