Purchased two Ray-ban eye glasses. Quality can be trusted. Service was good by salesperson and the eye specialist.

They lacked billing knowledge. It took some time for the sales person to make a Tabby payment.

I bought the glasses for my parents and they are on visit to UAE. The salesperson couldn't make a receipt for the Tax free planet.

Beautiful cabin, friendly, efficient staff. The drive to the cabins from the main road is quite long & very pot holey. Be careful if you have sports suspension. Out of the 3 forest holidays I've been on, this one had the best cabin but poorest location in relation to the forest visitors centre & didn't seem to have any marked trails from the complex, meaning a short drive was required. Loads of routes to suit all fitness levels from the visitors centre.

As a local resident we like to call in to the cafe on our visits to the forest. Today I called in with my two boys, they got told off for walking into the cafe without a parent, so came out crying, I went in to buy us some food and drink and got told off for standing in the shop area with my dog (a very gentle and calm soul)
I have to say this isn't the first experience we've had like this, and might go to explain why it's so empty.
What a shame Forest Holidays, you decimate what was beautiful undisturbed forest, and bring with it a commercialism & rudeness that is frankly bonkers. We won't be visiting again any time soon and will be making sure other locals hear of our experience too.

Great location and lovely cabins. Service does fall short. No gas in our BBQ and as it was 805pm when we let them know they basically just said ‘tough’. Weird that there was someone walking around checking music levels at exactly 10pm though. Could they not have brought us the gas? Bar/restaurant also closes at 8 and that seems pretty early. Especially in the summer months.
Overall a good experience but it was more the company I was with than the place itself.

We tried the food as we arrived early so had late lunch. The portion sizes were great. The staff I found a little short in friendliness, no real welcome on arrival or goodbye when leaving. We visited the gift shop once but again felt rather uncomfortable due to staff. The park in itself is peaceful and relaxing. Our cabin wasn't particularly "private" as described but very clean throughout. The cabins are faultless and good value.

Great place, staff were very helpful. My only complaint ( which I did mention ) was the bed. The bed moved and made a creaking noise every time you moved in bed. They did come and tighten it, which did make a difference. The mattress was awful. It was lumpy and really uncomfortable. It actually gave me a bad back. I slept on the sofa on the final evening.I've stayed at three other Forest Holidays and have never had this problem before. I will definitely stay at Forest Holidays again, but not Delamere, unfortunately.

Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing log cabins!! Such a beautiful place.

Myself and my fiancé arrived here on Friday for a 3 night getaway, and wow, what a place. Gorgeous scenery accompanied with brilliant facilities in such a beautiful part of the country. We have just rebooked to return later in the year.

Stay well clear for food.

Fine for a drink, maybe a coffee & some cake.

Pizza was fine but certainly over priced.
Hard to mess up a jacket potato but even that wasn’t great, and was twice the price you’d expect for what arrived.
The burger was terrible. The ‘local beef burger’ is best compared to a McDonolds saver menu burger but you’re charged £12 for the privilege for a thin piece and brown ‘meat’, in a flat bun and lone piece on lettuce inside.

After forgetting the ‘house salad’ was even part of our order, they brought out a small handful of basic lettuce, a few springs of rocket, pieces of cherry tomato is your lucky and then approximately an entire red onion in a hot bowl…

Service was the lowest without actively being bad.

For a recent development, this and the lodges are a massive missed opportunity, they could have great with real appeal to locals but instead are low quality offering, the buildings look like with were designed for 20 years ago and meant cars can now drive into the forest and fill your lungs with dust as the hurtle by.
