Visited for a leaving meal with colleagues.
The food was yummy. The place is clean. Lovely wood burner added to the atmosphere.
Welcoming staff who couldn't do enough. Although they were short staffed so I felt sorry for them as it got very busy. It didn't take anything away from our visit though. Still amazing food.

Best lamb roast lunch I've eaten out at a pub for many years. The service is exceptional and we were made very welcome. Very highly recommended.

We had an absolutely outstanding Sunday roast today at the Market Inn, I honestly couldn’t have enjoyed a roast more.
The atmosphere and decor was lovely (the sink in the ladies was so stunning).
The meat (we tried turkey and beef) was rich and well cooked, there were lovely roasties, delicious proper really meaty gravy, gorgeous very cheesy cauliflower cheese, fantastic fresh veg and perfect Yorkshire’s the size of a child’s head!
There was so much food that we only managed one desert between us - a tiramisu, which was airy, sweet and had sponge fingers which still had their texture.
They let me have a peek at a menu from last night to show me what they do and there were so many things I would’ve loved to have tried.
The service was perfect, they clearly really care about what they do which is a delight.
This is a new favourite!

Arrived and was greeted by a warm welcome by staff. We were shown our table and informed that there might be a delay due to the high volume of customers and was kept informed. You know, if it's a busy place, it's going to be a good place! Once the food order was taken and arrived about 12 mins later, it was very well worth the slight wait. I had the cad and chips. It was very tasty, and my wife had the chicken curry, and wow, was that a sight to see and made me jealous. Puddings were tasty as well. Well worth a visit if your in the area for food and drinks. Book in advance if your planning Sunday toast as gets booked up.

Had the pleasure of visiting this fabulous Inn, while on a visit to the area. From the super friendly welcome, to the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had out. Everything was cooked to perfection and there was loads of delicious veg to accompany it. We were even offered extra gravy if we wanted it. Thank to everyone there for making our Easter Sunday lunch memorable.

Me and my partner came here for food on a mini weekend vacation. We didn't know you had to call ahead but they accommodated us anyway, which we were extremely grateful for. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious I'm coming here again !!! Very nice tasting food and the atmosphere is great ???? I had the Thai curry and it did not disappoint me full of flavour and looked beautiful plus the small crab on the side it was a very nice visit
