This little South Indian vegetarian restaurant in Sharjah has become my weekend breakfast spot for quite some time. Their dosa, poori and filter coffee has an authenticity of it's own.

The staffs are ever welcoming and friendly. Altogether, a nice, peaceful place if you wish to try vegetarian dishes.

It is a tamil restaurent and tried to make an authentic atmosphere .. which is appreciated. The foods are good and it need to try the IDlY on next visit.. lunch meals are worth it...

Akka's idli fry is nothing but podi idli. Taste good and quantity also more than enough. It comes with 3 chutney and 1 sambar. Plenty to enjoy different taste for each bite.

Mister Idli is a new entrant in the Abu Shagara neighborhood of eateries. The place is well lit in bright hues of yellow. It has comfortable seating options both inside n outside. An all veg dining restaurant, this place promises its patrons to take its patrons to a gastronomic ride to Chennai and I am no exception as I loved every bit of it.

They have amazing varieties of Idlis, vadas n dosas. Apart from they serves some fusion dishes too. As their name iterates, we need to try the variety of idlis they offer. Rather than just plain normal idli, our server recommended we taste schezwan idli, manchurian idli, chukka idli and house special idli Podi. Each was better than the other with distinct flavor of sauces and spices. And it was hard to believe we are eating idli wrapped lovingly in such yummy flavors. A perfect munch of this flavourful idlis any time of the say. Podi Idli was tempered mini idlis and coated with ghee and Podi powder, good to try

Moving on we had family dosa along with chocolate dosa for the little one. Family dosa is huge, good to be shared in 2-3 people. Comes along with three chutneys n sambar. It was thin and crisp from outside and went very well with sambar n chutney alongside. Chocolate dosa served as a cone with a drizzle of chocolate syrup was okay, I wish they add more of the chocolate syrup to it or an extra chocolate alongside. For drinks we had sugarcane juice and goli soda. Goli soda was very refreshing, sugarcane juice tasted good but was a bit watery.

Lastly, we had tea n filter coffee. Filter coffee was hot, strong n aromatic as expected. Both the hot drinks was pretty good and was perfect end to our food expedition at this place. The staff were very welcoming and good in recommendation. The food here is delicious and very reasonably priced. Offcourse some tweaks can always be made for improvement in future but overall had a very flawless food experience at Mister Idli. Most definitely recommended!!!!

Mister Idli Pure Veg Restaurant is a recently refurbished South Indian restaurant in Abu Shagara, Sharjah .

Its interior is bright, airy, and has an open kitchen kind where you can witness fresh juice, coffee and tea in making; even they have outside seating too.

I came here for a Saturday breakfast with my family.

-We started with Family dosa, for the first time in UAE had this big dosa comes with three kinds of chutney and sambar. the dosa was thin and crisp with the aroma of desi ghee but upon request they gave me potato masala too.

-Then tried their house special podi idli, so basically mini idli tempered with small guntur chili and well coated with ghee and podi powder .. Must try .

-Had raasa vada and sambar vada dip. For the first time I tried the raasa Vada, it's the crispiestdal vada dipped in the thin tangy rasam gravy, it was my fav; even the Sambar vada was an amazing one.

- lastly had the Panchavarna uttapam, five kinds of uttapam with different topping cheese, dry fruit, carrot and onion and the podi.

For refreshment I had the special goli soda and freshly squeezed sugar cane juice.

The prices are super economical. Mister idli serves affordable 3 course meals starting from authentic South Indian breakfast followed by lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

Overall, a perfect combo as an economy saver attached with consistent quality and quantity being its utmost paramount importance. They also offer quick home delivery.

Mister Idli is surely one of the best veg restaurant in sharjah which serves the tasty nanjil nadu dishes and south indian foods. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Very spacious and awesome colourful interior design. Customer service is really good. Tried Naan and gobi manchurian very tasty and good in quantity also. The best is andra spicy masala dosai. Also they have the yummy tirunelveli halva and kulfi icecreams????. overall a worth dining.

The is the best spot where you can try wide verities of Idly dishes. The idly was super soft. They have sugar cane juice and they make golli soda. Its really a nostalgic with rose flavor. The coffee powder which used to make filter coffee is brought from Kumbakonam so the coffee is named as kumbakonam Filter coffee. Best filter coffee no doubt.
Guntur Idly:- its small sized idly.
Schewzan Chilly idly:- Deep fried idly pieces.
Rasavadai:- small vada( dal vada) dipped in rasam.
Chukka idly:- idly pieces sorted by using chukka masala.
Mushroom pepper fry aka kalaan fry:- spicy yummy
sugarcane Juice:- freshly prepared sugarcane with natural sweetness.
Chocolate cone Dosa:- dosa with chocolate syrup.
