Fish had skin on it and it didn't even look like a piece of cod. It was over cooked and dry, chips couldn't taste less of potato if they tried and the mushy peas were heated up in the microwave. I don't normally leave food but I left most of this. Just ????????. Considering I went in at 7pm and it was empty, nothing was cooked fresh.

I love my fish and chips so I thought I tried this out on Thursday as it's under new management. The fish was the best I have ever had. The quality of the fish was excellent and the taste was simply the best. It's was not greasy either unlike alot of other fish and chip shops I have tried. It's very good value for money too. Can't complain and I definitely be coming back for more. ????

Since I had heard new management was taking over I thought I would give the chippy a try. So i had high hopes and ordered small chips and nuggets. And I am afraid I was very disappointed. While portion size is good value. The chips looked cooked but opening one up they looked undercooked and didn't taste nice. As for the chicken nuggets, too much batter and alot of grease. So I took the decision to bin the lot.

The last management in place did a fantastic job but unfortunately as of now from my experience things aren't great.

Enzo is a tough act to follow but an excellent start, everyone is very friendly. Fewer items on offer which is a good thing. Loyalty scheme for regular customers is excellent idea. Free Fish & Chips after 10 visits.

Only two suggestions hence 4 stars.

1. Fish should be skinless.
2. Chicken nuggets, Smaller portion (6) option which would be cheaper, rather than 10 nuggets which is too many for most kids.

Since posting above chicken nuggets now available in 6 or 10 qty. Rating increased to 5.

Some Chinese dishes also available which we look forward to trying.

Really nice chips, not greasy.
Friendly staff
Fish cake and pie all good
Card payments accepted too.
Will try chinese menu next time
Even a loyalty scheme

The food was very good and everyone was super friendly and lovely! The fish and chips were delicious!!! I'm definitely coming back for more :)

Really good food, nice people and service. If you're searching for a nice place to eat real fish and chips, you have to stop here and try it!

Great chippy, chips were crispy outide and soft inside, fish was fresh, tasty and crispy, amazing service and friendly owner, will be eating from here again. CLASS!
