The gentlemen we spoke to upon arriving was the friendliest person I'd spoked to for a while! He could see we were beginners at fly fishing and came over to give us free tuition which we were extremely grateful for. The place is really well kept and stocked up as saw a lot of action. Plenty of fishermen showed up throughout the day showing it is a popular place but you can still have a peaceful and a great day. Thanks again to the lovely staff, you made our fishing trip! ????

Got to say went as a boy with my uncle back in early 90's and it was a slice of heaven on earth! Then went back with my son a couple of weeks ago. And found that it's still that slice of heaven on earth! We had a rare time, being amateurs, the kind guy running the place helped rig our rods and gave us some pointers. And I was a very proud father when my son hooked a fish ???????? he was so proud and i was also!!! Then he hooked his second but it was only a tiddler so back in it went. Highly recommend. For any fishing enthusiast as the guys there who seems to help whenever he can. Give it a go you'll not be disappointed???????? #HAPPYDAYS

fantastic small fishery, great staff and a great day out. there is even a smaller pond for the kids to catch their first fish

Plenty of fish, if you are interested in eating the fish, they taste great as there is a freshwater burn running through the fishery pond with some brown trout in there also.

Excellent small trout fishery, prices good, £10 for c/r on fly. Owner Dougie and Jim very friendly and helpful. Nice setting.
