Lovely Parc, great place for a walk with or without your dog. Lots of different walks, not just around the lake, and you've got the Lakeside cafe for food and drinks after where you can get full meals or just some of their lovely cakes.

This a little gem of a country park. Situated in the area of the Old Ogilvie mine. The area has several walks, picnic tables, a fishing lake, wildfowl, wild flowers, play areas, exercise equipment, a visitor centre, cafe and toilets.

Lovely walk around the lake and found the waterfall.
Food was good value, Price over cake seemed overpriced but was nice. Park was padlock shut

Beautiful, natural park with lots of nods to its historic past. Perfect for dog walkers, young families and cyclists alike with the main pathways tarmac covered and lots of side paths to explore. Relatively quiet compared to somewhere like Bryn Bach or Cyfarthfa. Parking remains free currently (wasn't prior to COVID), but we're warned by locals that this is expected to change in Jan 2023.

A beautiful venue for the baby shower. Sue and Her team was absolutely fantastic today. can't thank her enough, her attention to detail was just wonderful. The food she provided for us was delicious, the scones (with cream and jam) incredible!!! Sue and her team was more than happy to put up the decorations for us and they provided us with all the cutlery and crockery for the buffet/afternoon tea style. Teas and coffee was on demand. we was Lucky enough to pick a day with perfect weather and we was able to have a section of the cafe all to ourselves with beautiful views of the lakes. I would 100% recommend this place, whether it is a baby shower, birthday party, gender reveal. 10/10. thank you Sue and the team for all your help and support today. we will definitely be back.

Excellent place to have a quiet walk around and a nice coffee afterwards. There is plenty of nature and little play points for kids to have a go on the swings or climbing frames. Unfortunately currently the play park is out of action due to safety concerns but it did not stop us enjoying it as there were other swings and apparatus.

Excellent park. From easy to moderate treks around. Look out for industrial remnants of the mine. Walk through the forest. Find bluebells, Welsh poppies, orchids. Mind out for the sheep.

Natural beauty and wildlife to check out..with a cafe open most days loads of parking spaces and charge points for electric cars also. Camping and caravan park also here and fishing on the lake..if that's not your thing yiu can enjoy some nice walks or cycle routes.
