I did wonder, before arrival, if the lack of photos of the bedrooms on the cottages.com website was an hint of problems, but I needn't have worried as the bedrooms were fine. I've uploaded some photos to Google Maps so others can see. The high ceilings in the living space upstairs are very nice. There's a constant gushing sound from the river outside, which is either relaxing or annoying, depending what you're used to. The chuff chuff of passing stream trains several times a day is very pleasant.

Great location, some great places to sit and watch the waterfall from inside and out. Living, dining and kitchen open area upstairs is roomy.

Absolutely stunning, great little hideaway. Beautiful decorated. Would love to come again. Right next to the Goathland railway station
