Please avoid! Fire alarm went off at around 4am, walked downstairs to be told that it was probably “dust or mice” . There was no apology from anyone, absolutely ruined a birthday weekend away. Tried contacting the hotel and they did not respond. Lack of professionalism there.

My Mum and I had the best SPA day here! The massages were amazing… the therapists were so knowledgeable and we each had our own personalised massage. Food was amazing. Pool area is so lovely and warm- all staff very attentive. The best by far.

My faith in hotel massage was restored by Nicole/Nicola.. highly recommended therapist. All the staff I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. The spa itself is good, steam room excellent but the door to the sauna could do with a clean and the experience showers don’t all work.

Beautiful spa but the worst facial I’ve ever had.
I’ve been looking for a spa nearby to have regular facials and I thought I’d give the Hatherley Manor a go.
The therapist left the light on in the room so they were shining in my eyes. Crashing doors banging around in the room, rough facial, slapping creams on and not at all gentle with my eyes …..really not a pleasant or relaxing experience. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived.
I rarely leave a poor review but this was awful!
I’m sure it’s absolutely lovely with a different therapist.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Spa, I had a massage with Sylvia and it was the best massage I've ever received. The surrounding spa facilities were also quite nice with the spa garden being a nice extra touch. The staff was kind and accommodating even though I rescheduled a few times.

This is not 3/4star...our room was dirty food not of a good standard not a friendly warm welcome atmosphere, and most of all it is well overpriced and the spa should not be a extra charge it should be all room entry.Also we wasn't notified before by email or telephone call about the refurbishment going on.

I booked a spa package for mothers' day & had an absolutely lovely time! The treatments were excellent (we both had gel removal, pedicures, back massage and a full Elemis facial) with very professional therapists in hands down the most beautifully designed treatment rooms I've ever seen at a spa. We arrived at 9am and were helped immediately by Laura and provided a form to fill in, the menu to select our two course lunch, robes and offered flip flops. We were then shown around and left to enjoy our day. We had treatments at 11am, lunch at 1pm and then another treatment at 2.15pm which was lovely as our treatment times were the same - often you get different treatment slots and spend a lot of your day alone so this was excellent! Lunch was lovely - I had arancini balls with hummus and my mom had smoked salmon salad with some bread & butter - both were lovely. We both had lemon tart which was really well presented & the homemade cream with vanilla bean was excellent. We found the bar to be very well priced (£24.95 for a bottle of Prosecco) and loved that you had the option to enjoy your drinks pool side - many places don't let you do this either! We also enjoyed some of the small luxuries available (swimwear dryer and bags provided for you to take swimwear home in, Elemis shampoo, conditioner & body wash). Overall - excellent & we're wanting to get memberships!

I had my second visit to Hatherley Manor Spa yesterday with a friend and had yet another amazing experience. The Spa is beautiful and we took full advantage of all of the facilities including even using the gym for a short while before we relaxed. Everything at the Spa is clean, well presented and of high quality and all of the staff are attentive, polite and knowledgeable in their roles. I had an express facial which was very relaxing and the therapist talked me through the aftercare and products used after the treatment and had clearly paid attention to the form I had completed prior to the treatment as she explained what and why she had used the products she did. We had lunch with a glass of Prosecco which was all delicious and both me and my friend floated out of the Spa due to how relaxed and easy the whole experience had been. 5 hours flew by and I cannot wait to go again. Hot stone massage is next on the cards as I’ve been highly recommended that treatment
