Absolute rip off. I always pay for parking and one day I got out late and arrived back to my car 30 seconds over the allocated time and the officer was giving me a fine!! I had already paid for 4hrs worth of parking and use that car park daily. I also got another fine when I accidentally used my old car reg on the app. I tried to appeal and showed proof of payment and proof of my old and new car but it was denied and the fine went up. Such a greedy company with a ridiculously high fine payment!

Absolutely useless, if I could give 0 stars I would. No option to speak to anyone as a vulnerable person over the phone, time limits for fines but it takes them 5 working days to email back and when they do it's the most half arsed response ever, may as well have responded 'we don't care'. Pathetic service for a company who loves the money. One photo given for proof, no mention of the truth, waste of time even trying to appeal, just money for them. They must love their jobs not having to face customers directly.

DO NOT USE THIS CARPARK. I have been handed a fine for not paying and have had my appeal rejected despite me clearly having a receipt for payment retrospectively as I had no signal at the time of parking. The response to my appeal is a generalised list of reasons with not one addressing the issues I detailed and no way to discuss the appeal with a member of staff. Absolutely disgusting company aiming to rip off honest people during this cost of living crisis.

Awful business which charges maximum legal fines and maximum legal early payment fees in Chester le Street. Small errors punished ,legally ,but beyond what any court would impose.
BUT you should really blame DURHAM COUNCIL who gave planning permission for this car park without setting rules - - - to operate 24 hours , and damage local businesses.
New laws will soon limit their fines but until then they will continue to bring despair to those struggling to manage. Shame on you.

Awful company one photo given as proof, no second image for proof of leniof stay. Image is just a few minutes after we have arrived. Awful people

I have looked on the online portal. All images are of different angles of the car taken less than a minute a part. By the time I got out my car read the sign and got back it would have taken at least 5 mins. I am dyslexic so it can be classed as indirect discrimination not allowing sufficient time to read and process a sign to decide if I wanted to park there. Images taken do not offer any proof of anything due to no time taken between images.

Can’t speak to a person. Pathetic money making company. Said my car wasn’t parked in a bay. There wasn’t any bays there and I’ve seen police cars parked in the same location when they go to get food from Greggs. I’ve paid the money but am equally frustrated

Awful Company. Paid to use one of their carparks a few weeks back, never again. Returned back to my car, saw the traffic warden in the carpark who issued the ticket, she could have came over to see my valid ticket, but she just looked at me then snuck off looking embarressed. Give traffic wardens a bad name. The council traffic wardens are fine, but these ones,, probably paid by the fine, minimum wage, so its their goal.
I then get the fine, no option to pay the reduced fee. £100 they think is a fair price for failing to display, absolute maximum they can legally get away with, there is plans for the goverment to reduce it to £50 in the future, its people like these why. £35 the council charges.

They run the Market Hall carpark on front street, one on Clarence Terrace.
Do not help fund these. You can use the local tescos for 2 hours free, the local morrisons for 2 hours free, and all the county council carparks are free after 2pm. You can park round the corner from clarence terrace any time except between 10am and 11, and 2pm and 3. So there is plenty of free options, I wouldnt risk using these because they are desperate to ticket you, they will be looking for anything they can get you on. The locals are probably wise to these thats why they are mostly empty spaces, and I noticed the shops around the surrounding areas of these carparks are mostly closed down too. Probably a link, I certainly wont be shopping in chester le street again with these predators hanging around.

I would of probably used their carparks often, but now I actively avoid them, told the company fleet of 30 cars to avoid them aswell. Hopefully the council get shot of them.
I will be making a complaint to the council about them.

Parking Group Limited. An absolute disgusting company. I made the mistake of parking in one of their carparks the last month. 2 weeks later out of the blue I get a failure to pay for parking charge, despite the fact I did pay, and they know it, but due to the fact they use tickets made of toilet paper and have no adhesive, the wind from closing the door was enough to blow it over. Still the ticket being so cheap and see through you can still clearly see it said 14.52 on the ticket, while the fine was issued at 14.33. I explained that it was a geniune mistake, but do they care, they think this somehow justifies a £100 fine, punishing innocent motorists, despite already paying to use their carpark.
Something I will never ever do again. I will not be shopping in chester le street again, with moraless scammers like these kicking about.
