The village looks very authentic, although construction began in 2020, but the observation tower at the top has apparently been standing here since ancient times. This is a future hotel, so hurry up to visit this place before it opens and it becomes a private area. I think it will be great to come and stay at the hotel, because the view here is stunning and when all conditions for the comfort of guests are created, this place will become even better. There are no toilets here at the moment and bring water with you, because you will definitely want to drink after you go up and down the tower.

Beautiful place. You can walk all the way up to the mountain top to see the view. There are seating places to rest in between. Photogenic spot.

Traditional building and a tower. Need to climb little. From top can have a nice view of mountains. Houses are locked when I visited. Getting parking during holidays is bit difficult.

A really great walk. You can take your car in but you will not be able to keep it there overnight. I parked at the entrance to the estate and went in on foot. Plenty of places to erect a tent. I really enjoyed the walk. Its a tarmac road all the way to the dam with no major hills. Good job as I was carrying a backpack with all my camping gear. The midges are a bit of a nuisance so best go early on in the year. I intend to go this year as well with my youngest grandson.

Lovely drive up to the dam and then driving over at the view. Lots of deer and mountain goats to spot.

One of the many hydro-electric dams built in the Highlands of Scotland from 1947 on.
Nowadays classed as a source of "renewable energy" along with wind and wave power.
This of course resulted in the flooding of the glens where they were built.
