I had been to this restaurant thrice. First two times were for having lunch.... The normal kerala meals and had a great experience. The foos was really good. However i had been to Nila on 21st July 2023 for dinner and we ordered Appam, Mutton kada and fish nirvana. Unfortunately had a very bad experience with food. Mutton kadai was like butter chicken ...just that instead of chicken it was mutton. Fish nirvana was dipped in either maida or corn starch with some coconut milk. It was just the worst...... the price for the mutton was AED30 and fish nirvana (small size fish) was charged AED35. Totally not worth and just a waste of money.

However i would still recommend their afternoon normal malayali meals which is worth the money and taste.

Updating my review as visited after a gap of 2 years although we order from here often. Now they started a grill restaurant also. This time we ordered fried rice , parotta, chicken munchurian and chicken seeekh kebab. Parotta was classic as it was fluffy and layered and tasty. Chicken fried rice and curry was also delicious. But chicken seeekh kebab was a total disappointment. It was hard and felt like half cooked and no where near to the taste and aroma of seeekh kebab. Need to improve on this. ------------old review below-----
Nila restaurant is nearby safeer mall in sharjah al nahda and in the entrance side of industrial area. We usually order food delivery or takeaways from here although a few times I have dined in. I particularly like their pothichor and also evening time nadan chaya. Last time we ordered dum porotta, which is a three layered porotta which has chicken in one layer beef in one layer and some boiled eggs and fried chicken on the top. This was good, although I would say it was not upto my expectations .It was good enough for two people and came wrapped in vazhayila and chatti. if u plan to dine in there are only limited parking in the front but there are many open area parkings nearby as it's an industrial area behind.

Tried their breakfast. Was a limited menu but all was good. The lunch seems more interesting and will surely try and update the review. Tried lunch as well... Fantastic.

I have ordered Mandy today for dinner and they have delivered Mallu Mandi , Nila please if you don’t know about Arabic dishes don’t make fool out of customers. Mandi rice should be the long grain rice , don’t use your small biriyani rice. I don’t like wasting the food otherwise I would have been thrown out it in the bin. Very bad Mandi I had in my life.

Recently visited Nila restaurant for a takeaway. We ordered Porotta,Arirotti, with Mutton Nadan curry and Chicken Shappile curry with mint lime juice and Grape Juice. The food was not upto our expectation and also it was not hot enough as well as the juices were not cold. We placed orders for spicy curries after talking to them but the curries were blunt. The Customer Service was good.

Very good and tasty food at a decent price . We had fish ???? biriyani and veg meal . Both super . Lots of free parking outside . Separate family room . Good staff .

We again visited , this time we had Kerala pothi choru , wow ???? , what to say it was Awesome , fish fry , fish curry , fish ???? thoran , chicken curry , omelette, oh my god , different level and lots of vegetable curries , Thoran , avial , beetroot , chutney and at last super payasam . In a simple way , super Adil poli ????. Enganne vennam ????

How does the detailed look of Beef biriyani from @nila_restaurant_llc look ???????? perfectly cooked beef chucks (just that it had a lot of masala ????)

Good affordable food with a satisfactory taste. Good variety of food and the staff is really patient and helpful.
