Nice little boating lake. Hired a pedalo for me and my son- he enjoyed it. Just beware of the over - friendly swans who like to snatch the bird food out your hands ???????? really helpful chap who does the boat hire.

Cleethorpes Boating Lake is a great place to take the family for a day out. There is plenty of seating, with picnic benches and tables scattered around the lake. There are also a sandpit. The lake itself is a great place to take a stroll, feed the ducks, or hire a boat and go for a paddle

We've been to Cleethorpes a few times over the past 12 years, almost every time on Boxing Day. A bracing long walk along the beach or more often walking south, partly alongside the mini railway track, which provide views of the estuary forts standing guarding the docks at Hull and Industry alongside the Humber.

This time, it was 16°C at Cleethorpes on Easter Saturday. Lovely sunny day requiring a jumper still but fabulous.

Shame about the typical industrial scale fast food across from the way from the beach front parking. Could have been much more elegant, with housing and a mix of shops.

We'll be back.

Very lovley place to come for a walk , can walk around the lake and look at the ducks ,swans and gesse. Or go walk around the marsh and head towards the beach.

The playground area is rotten and worn down so could do with the council replacing it.
However a very pleasant place for a walk and many places to eat opposite the lake.

Lovely place to have a walk round, sit and enjoy watching the swans,ducks and geese. We were lucky to see some ducklings up close . Weekends you can watch the model boats zip about and rent a paddle boat and get in the water yourself .

Nice area to sit outside with a beer or ice cream and watch the world go by. Didn't eat in the inside area but had a look at the menu, there was a decent variety of food ????

We went for a walk around the boating lake and along the beach top. It's our go to place in Cleethorpes for the kids to have a run around and get some fresh sea air.
We stopped at the little coffee shop along the top ( unfortunately I'm unsure how else to describe the location Sorry). Lots of people around and was lovely to see it so busy.
We bought duck feed from the boat shop and the kids loved feeding all the different types of ducks/geese/swans.
