Receptionist on phone? More like a prison officer at times! You lot are on the phones for 1 hour of the day 1 till 2 and the fact you have an attitude/ego as big as you do is not a good look for any establishment especially in a one where kind words and understanding goes a very long way. Managers should review reception.

Reception has an "attitude"and talks down to clients,,, and the Veterinary whom you see, is "Luck of the draw", as it did depends on Who's their on the Day, I have No Idea Why Covid means Of Course Only 3hrs a week?!!
Old Mr Baird, who was a fantastic vet, Sadly long gone......

Wish I could give it zero star. Receptionist extremely rude. I don’t know why she’s in the job as she clearly doesn’t care. After having a severely injured bird in the garden, we called our vets (Craig Robinsons which is amazing); Carlisle council and wildlife trust in our village, Houghton. All of them told us to contact the RSPCA. The receptionist was extremely rude and stated that she didn’t care and it had nothing to do with them and that they aren’t responsible for ‘dirty birds’. I was offered no further advice and I hung up. I am in disbelief that someone could represent an establishment like that. I am relieved that me and my husband are in good jobs and my heart breaks for anyone who has to go through regularly.

Reception lady was very rude with most people on more than one occasion and with me, argued against me even the vet came out and stuck up for me after hearing her. The vets there were great tho and very helpful.

They need another receptionist. The one they have is rude and definitely not an animal lover.

Won't treat your pet unless they are neutered and thats £45. What they don't get is that people who bring their animals here are really good responsible pet owners. Go to the likes of pets at home , nu pets who sell animals for pure profit make them sell animals who are already neutered it's these big profit organizations who are the problem that the rspca funds.

Kind and Knowledgeable. They offer micro chipping, neutering (advisable! Think of All the unwanted kittens and pups etc,,,)vaccinations, treatments from scaling teeth,advice and healthy weight control, this gives people who are on benefits or low paid etc.,.the opportunity to nip pets ailments in the bud!! Instead of worrying about the cost while, sadly.the pet (s)may well be suffering and could deteriorate!! So please do it ,bring your pet.to the Vet, so it's health needs will be met!! X????X
