We have been to the boathouse twice and we absolutely loved it. The setting (literally on the loch side) is so beautifully peaceful and tranquil. The accommodation is very well equipped and luxurious with views across the loch that are breathtaking. The pub is 2.5 miles away and serves gastro food of the highest quality. The owners have provided lots of information about the property and activities nearby.
Don’t book this property if you’re looking to be close to shops and restaurants…….Oban is an hour drive away!! However, if you’re after privacy, tranquility and to really slow down tans relax then there’s no better place than Achnacarron Boathouse.

We've only been here less than a day of our week long trip. This place is stunning. The lock is gorgeous and the Boathouse is beautiful. There are a few kayaks, paddle boards and a very nice canoe on site for cruising around the loch. Views are simply gorgeous.

Stunning get away , amazing scenery & a magical place to escape to , very well equipped property too , don’t be silly enough to rely on sat nav in the remote Scottish Highlands , give the house keepers a call for directions they’re lovely people ????
