Lorraine, the owner of this property refused to let us stay on the day of arrival, leaving us & our child to sleep in a car & all because I commented on the horrendous parking (not suitable for a large car) and the tiredness of the property. Apparently it’s extremely rude to comment adversely about the Gulls & if you do you’ll be thrown out. Even begging texts and apologies couldn’t change Lorraine’s mind. I suspect she wanted to take advantage of the excess demand because of COVID & let to to another family at over inflated rates! Such an unprofessional approach to running a business is beyond belief so I wanted to warn others thinking of staying here to take care if you have to speak to the owner. The parking is, as others have said, awful and not suitable for a large car (we had to reverse 500m out of the single track lane leading to the property). The living / dining / kitchen is too small for 8, although the views are stunning. Such a shame that the property is so tired looking - saggy sofas, mildew in the bathrooms & stained carpets just don’t do it for me but I guess it’s all relative to what you’re used to.

Nothing special about the place except the views of the harbour, especially at night. They are into this eco-friendly no fresh towels each day thing which should not be pushed onto their guests, who might not be into the eco lifestyle and want a clean towel each day. Parking is a nightmare.

Great views across to East Looe. Comfortable accommodation. Steep staircases are managable.
