Shopping here is stress-inducing. This is the worst Sephora to come to for any returns and their rules do not apply to everyone in the same way. The manager is completely not co-operative. I went for a return and the manager made such a big deal and made it a very uncomfortable experience from beginning to end. Then I went to Sephora in Dubai Mall straight after to return the same item and it was done in no time. It makes sense why this place has a lot of negative reviews based on their customer service.

Lastly I felt a sense of discrimination at this branch because when I went to return a product I was treated poorly and my item was meticulously scrutinised. After the rude encounter with the manager I didn’t want to go back to that branch again so a couple of days later I asked my husband to return the same product which was in a different shade, and he told me they didn’t even open the lid to check it, he also told me it was the manager who dealt with him.

We strongly felt the returns policy of the Sephora branch at Zahia Mall was not consistent because for us the manager was clearly influenced by my husbands’ appearance (he was wearing a Kandura - UAE traditional dress), and speaking Arabic which he conversed with her (which I was unable to do).

Appalling customer service. Avoid.

I came here today with my wife, two ladies were whispering and laughing while looking at us, very disrespectful rude attitude, you should have more professional trained staff and mostly importantly helpful without being annoying.

Unprofessional staff and totally unhelpful. Once the branch opened they had very nice staff. Now they replaced with some incompetent personals that have no idea what customer service is
