It was a rainy day so we booked the family fun swim. We all had a great time, I did think it was quite pricey (£26) for the 4 of us but it was great fun and we spent 80 minutes in the pool. Its a bit tired looking but that didn't stop us enjoying the slide and rapids. We couldn't use the lockers as we were told we needed an old pound coin or a trolley coin however we were able to leave our things at the side of the pool. There are plenty of lifeguards and the lady at reception was so welcoming.

Spoke to customer service as we had booked to swim but our son had developed chickenpox overnight. I asked if I could have our 4x people swim put onto a voucher to use another time and was told by a very sleepy customer service guy that they couldn't do that and that we'd just have to cancel. I then had to explain if we attended he would infect the pool and that it would be a h&s issue if we came to our session not that our son was well enough to do so. At that point he said he would cancel the booking and I could apply for a reimbursement. It's been 2 weeks and still no refund or response. I cannot believe Better would have such terrible protocols for their customer service and cancellation policies.

Went swimming here today paid normal price the slide was open for 5 minutes in an hour slot and there was no wave matchin or lazy river we traveled 45 minutes just for the slide and the wave matchin and and lazy river wished we had just gone to our own swimming pool cost just as much and we wouldn't of had to pay for petrol. The pool was also cold and the hot tub wasn't much warmer.

If anyone else is going to this swimming pool for this reason don't waste your money!!

Why 4 stars and not 5? Changing stalls require more regular cleaning. Staff are great, friendly and on the ball when it comes to safety in the pool. Showers were hot.

This is great for the smaller kids but not loads for older teenagers.

Very poor customer service. Booked online to take my daughter swimming, received an email the evening before to say the pool was "unavailable" and that we had to complete an online form to get a refund. The pool was still open for booking on the website at this time! The online form didn't work, the manager took days to respond to her email (despite replying almost immediately) and I am still waiting on the refund from Better customer services over 10 days later! What a joke!!

Covid aware friendly staff guided us through our first visit. There is a one way system down to the changing rooms and a different route out. The pool was not crowded and the kids had a great time. A flume and a tidal raceway were working and being enjoyed by many folk. We needed to pre-book but that is a small inconvenience in these times and, I guess, helps control numbers.

Sadly being run down by Better Leisure and the council, no doubt to make way for more (UN)affordable homes. Pool water was cold, many lockers broken, such a shame! Poolside staff were friendly and helpful.

Swimming was great as always. Been here many times with the kids. Was disappointed with the time we had. Was told we had an hour and half by the receptionist, thinking that's not to bad. But an hour into our swim was asked to leave. I understand there is a pandemic on at the moment. But young kids don't understand that.
