Waltham Windmill is a beautiful and historic place that is well worth a visit. The windmill is in great condition and the views from the top are amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the £3 admission fee is very reasonable. I would highly recommend Waltham Windmill to anyone interested in history, architecture, or simply a nice day out.

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. You pay to go in the windmill. Model steam railway £1 to ride on. Very interesting rural/ R.A.F museum, entry by donation. Cafe, toilets, few shops & children's play park on site. The car park is quite small.

Easter Sunday wasn't as busy as expected but had a lovely day out there with the family lots to do grandkids loved the train and the park loved the museum we have been quite a few times love the place very quaint takes you back in time highly recommend.

Great way to spend a few hours with small children. Free parking and play area. Model railway runs on Sundays (check before going though) and is a great little ride and really good value at £1 per ride. Coffee shop at the rear of the site serves lovely homemade cakes and sandwiches, although could be better signposted from the car park! Various craft stores and charity toy shop on site.

Lovely couple of hours with grandkids - train ride, ice cream, museum, windmill, tea room all excellent.

Lovely walk round, visited the RAF museum, we nt for coffee and a cream scone at Chuzzlewhits cafe and had a look around the few shops. Didn't actually climb the windmill though

Absolutely well worth a visit. £3 entry. Run by volunteers. Check opening times. It was a real experience through the working areas over several floors. Good museum also on site. Rural and RAF. Entry by donation. Miniature railway too. £1 ride I think. Not a big place but worth a few hours if in the area. Also old fashioned sweet shop.
