One of the oldest and most vibrant souqs in the whole region, located in the Heart of Sharjah. Brings back you to the old heritage of sharjah. Lots of shops, supermarkets and cafes.

Must visit when in Sharjah for a feel of old Souq (Market), can find many shops selling Clothes, Perfume, Bakhoor, Abhaya etc

Souq Alshanasiyah is a vibrant and bustling market that offers a unique shopping experience in Sharjah. As a local, I was impressed by the wide range of products and goods on offer, from traditional textiles and clothing to handmade crafts and souvenirs.

One of the things that I appreciated about the market was the authentic and traditional atmosphere that was created by the vendors and merchants. It felt like a real glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the UAE, and I enjoyed exploring the various stalls and interacting with the friendly vendors.

Another highlight of the market was the opportunity to sample some of the delicious local cuisine, which was a true delight for the senses. The aromas and flavors were incredible, and I was grateful for the chance to try some of the traditional dishes that are unique to the region.

One of the beautiful place in Sharjah..
Must visit street.
Take us to the past era, heritage themed shopping street..
Textile shops, cafe, Arabian tea house, great pathway..
It’s more beautiful during winter nights and Ramadan nights with lights hanging..
Clean place!

Nice old feeling to it. Clean. Sits in the middle of HEART of OLD Sharjah. Not busy in the early day hours. But the entire Heart of Sharjah is very beautiful, historic and renovated very nicely.

UAE Heritage and cultural SOUQ. An ambient and shrine environment. Best time to visit is afternoon and part of early morning.

A beautiful quaint Souq with a small selection of antique shops as well as clothes retailer. There is also a small part dedicated to the Souq's history and contains historical artifacts of such.

Very well kept and maintained, typical of a Sharjah government heritage initiative. Another cultural gem of Sharjah's past.
