You can look at a car here and try it on, but it's better to buy it by hand on local sites. If you have friends from indigenous locals, the purchase will be more profitable.

This was our second visit to Pinewood and it was just like coming home. The accommodation is cosy, beautifully presented , well equipped & clean. We took our dogs who loved the long walks locally and further away. Pinewood is located in a central position in the Highlands to visit so many beautiful places. I miss my morning coffee soaking up the views. We are already booked for 2024 :). Thank you Jane for a wonderful holiday.

The steading is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and with an extremely well equipped kitchen. We spent most evenings relaxing on the sofa in front of the wood burner, with my dog calling dibs on the corner seat, and enjoying bits from the very generous welcome pack. The garden had a lovely view and was fully enclosed (great for dog owners) but the highlight was the location - perfect for exploring the highlands!

We have already enquired about a stay later this year and very much hope go be back for another visit!

This is such a fantastic place to stay that I almost want to keep it a secret...
We have visited Pinewood Steading twice now - and I was so sad that our second stay was coming to an end that I made sure to book our third before we left!
There is so much that is wonderful about this place. The location, the view, the generous and friendly hosts, their fabulous attention to detail (you will want for nothing in the house), the fact that it is really and truly dog friendly and safe, the way it manages to feel homely and luxurious at the same time.
We adore it. I'd be amazed if you didn't adore it too!

What a fabulous place Pinewood Steading is, just left after spending a week staying here. Jane and Jimmy have thought of everything you need whilst staying here. The fire is a lovely addition to come home to after being out exploring the highlands. The garden is perfectly secure for dogs and Heidi has enjoyed the views as much as we have. The welcome basket and doggie treats were a lovely extra. We can’t wait to come back next year!! Thank you.

We have just had a week at this place near Inverness and totally loved it and would recommend it if you want a nice quiet private place which is just that little bit special. The property is to die for with the most amazing views from a huge window at the end of the kitchen over the Beauly Firth and to the mountains beyond. It is well kitted out , immaculately clean and all the furnishings are quality so a really luxury stay is to be had. Nice and spacious too. The hosts Jane and Jimmy were really helpful when we wanted travel advice and made us feel totally welcome. Can't wait to go back!

Lovely Bungalow with amazing views all around. * 2nd Visit just coming to an end, Didn't think it could be any better but 3 yrs later and we're back for our honeymoon after I proposed here in the summer of 2018. We just love it here its our happy place for sure. Looking forward to summer 2023 now.

We wanted comfortable accommodation for a brief Highland break. Couldn't believe the high standard of the accommodation and the warm welcome by Jane and Jimmy at Pinewood Steading. It was positively luxurious, extremely well equipped with fabulous views to the Fifth and snow capped mountains. We also got brilliant advice from Jimmy with regards to the best walks; Glen Afric was stunning! It's only 20 minutes from Inverness but seems to be in the heart of the Highlands. We will definitely be back!

Wow, where do I begin, the steading is absolutely breath taking, the views & the steading it's self. Jane & Jimmy are a lovely and welcoming couple, they made our stay very comfortable & also made our engagement feel extra special, I can't thank them enough. The steading is now my "happy place". There is endless walks around the area and a lot of lovely places to see. We are now going to make yearly visits we enjoyed it that much. Highly recommend visiting you won't regret it!
