What can I say about this company who persistently put residents at risk when flying below 500m above resident properties they are putting life’s at risk.

They should not be operating outside of their planning application hours, we have tried to contact them and there owners but with little success.

Humphrey Penney should have control of operations at the site but unfortunately he doesn’t

Well it’s been a month since this review we have tried to contact the airfield but they are ignoring our emails not a very professional communication skills bill.

That said I do wonder what type of businessman Humphrey Penney is.

I will up load some photos take from our back garden, what I will say any accidents and I will submit all correspondence advising the authorities of our concerns although we are having a meeting with the CAA.

I have to say the previous own was more professional then Humphrey Penny and I will continue with these review until things improve.

Still flying causing reception issues and operating outside their times as usual, it would appear they can’t tell the time not 6.30pm should stop at 17.00.

Reading Rons review, it seams like he was either born in the 1930's before Sandtoft became a active airfield, or he didn't do his home work before he purchased his property so close to a airfield. Please provide pictures of aircraft flying over residential properties as I am 100% sure your telling porkies.

Despite the concerns raised here , 500ft is perfectly legal.amd safe , the fact aircraft do NOT generally operate below that altitude.
Coupled with the fact , The review there fails to admit what is well-known that the approaches from the south are over open fields and a small country lane, note on approach aircraft remain above such hazards and have to aim for ' touch down markers '.
This ensures separation from ground hazards. From the North the approach is more tricky , passing 200 feet over the industrial estate entrance on landing, again the landing aircraft has ample safe separation.
In all cases there would be a go around, if the approach or landing was not safe .
No pilot can break these rules.
Further if they did they would likely loose their license or face charges .
And a CAA investigation!.
I have known that airfield for years it is an excellent general Aviation airfield. Operating small to medium props including large ' Twins it has good facilities plus flight training.
An excellent cafe and had to adhere to regulations laid down by the CAA. Also it falls under the Doncaster Airport Airspace control as well. Also there has NEVER been an accident or below safe altitude over flight .
Finally with respect there are NO residential properties at either end of the field , also it has been in operation on and off since serving as a satellite field for the USAF and RAF .
And if you buy a house close to an airfield and airport you must realise you will see and hear aircraft.
One could argue DSA is just as risky on its training programme for various airlines, where those club at 1500 feet over the Isle in general.
To close to dismiss this airfield in that manner is based on a perceived personal feeling as opposed to fact !.

Ps just noticed the complainer's photo his property is clearly aligned not far from the approach, clearly as well looking at the angle of the Cessna it was on approach to land. In a safe controlled manner .
I'd like to see proof that their operating hours are violated, as that would cause grave issues.
Im in no way connected to this organisation but I do know about aviation!.
Nimby strikes again !
