A well established eatery and pub, The Green Tree Inn is a Stonehouse pubs outlet, meaning you can expect typical chain pub fayre.

The standard array of both alcoholic and soft drinks are available at the small bar, with this being a Pepsi pub (no Coca-Cola for a change). Meals range from a full stone baked pizzeria, through burgers, grills, and a full carvery offering. Small plates and light bites are available for little ones and those counting calories, but timings for these may be limited so best to check in advance.

Tables can be booked via phone, web, or app and is advisable during busy periods (Sundays and Bank Holidays). There are a decent amount of tables, with the most common being 4-seater square tables, though there are a few larger to accommodate bigger groups. There is also a separate function/dining room which tends to be opened up on Sundays for overflow carvery seating.

Overall the quality of food is pretty good for the price, especially when you consider that other than meat and immediate extras the rest of the carvery is self-service, so you can load up as you like.

It was delicious! I loved the food - it was amazing quality and was served with a warming smile from Pete. He came over to our table and checked on us. Empty plates across the table ????

Always one of our favourite places to visit, love the carvery, great portions and plenty of veg to choose from and very good on price. staff friendly and welcoming especially Pete the chef who goes round and checks on the food. Only negative today was pudding was forgot about after waiting half a hour and when they came out they was cold usually the fudge cake is warm. It’s one of those things and can happen as know working in hospitality. But will be back as one of favourite places to visit and would recommend.

We had a fantastic night for our staff night out, the food was delicious. The trillionare bar was also nice but VERY sickly i couldnt finish it all. All the staff was super lovely and helpfull. Also have a great new range of drinks out.
(Sorry i was so hungry and ate a slice before i took a photo)

I visited here with my 2 boys & Father, we went for the 2 course set menu, prices vary from their app to the prices in the venue? App states £9.49 for 2 courses in the venue it cost £10.29 is written on the menu at that? Also my meal never got added to the app rewards even though the person behind the bar scanned my bar code ????????u200d♂️

Still a reasonable price, we had, battered fish, scampi, simply cheeseburger & gammon.

Then bottomless ice creams for desserts which went down really well and is a great idea as most places just offer a couple of scoops at similar prices.

Easy to park at and a warm cozy atmosphere.

The chef Pete had a walk round and said hello prior to us leaving.

We would definitely recommend and will be coming back again.

Although we arrived at a very busy time, we were served quickly and the staff were very friendly. We all thought the carvery was good value for money. Many thanks to Pete the chef for looking after our veggie guest who really enjoyed his meal.
