Went to have a shawarma, but changed our mind by hearing the ad about 51 dh mix grill which they claimed to have for 4 persons. It was actually quite enough for 3, not 4. Grill was tastey. They serve small quantity of hot soup first, followed by fish fingers and chicken momos. Then with fresh juices( lemon, watermelon, grapes and mint). Only the watermelon tasted good. Then comes the main grill items plate filled with 2 piece charcoal chicken, chicken kabab, tandoori chicken, other few chicken grill and then chicken wings. Good food. ????

Awessome Delicious Mix Grill Platter and Exceptional Service by Kiran

Last night, my friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Tiffin Box, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the mouthwatering mix grill platter to the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Kiran, everything exceeded our expectations.

Quality of food is not as good as in the beginning. Also there is charge for packing if you are taking it out eventhough its a normal packing like other shops.

We arrived after closing time so had to make a long walk. One of Scotland’s most magnificent castles but unfortunately we didn’t get to go inside. But the view of Bass Rock and Isle of May set against the castle in the foreground is worth the visit alone. Seeing our first peregrine falcon who is currently nesting in the castle was an unforgettable experience too.

This was a real find. Very cheap to get in with a free carpark, toilets and small shop. You can explore some of the castle up some stair and the views were stunning. Great view of Bass Rock. Nice place for kids to run about and have a picnic

This is a fantastic ruin to visit, and it’s free! The people that work there, and in the gift shop are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Although we were still unable to go inside the castle, as they’re doing remedial works on it, it was still a great marvel to see. Would recommend going on a nice day, taking a picnic and making the most of the scenery. I will definitely be going back when the interior is open again (which should be Aug 2023).

A longish walk from the first car park, however so well worth it. The views out to the bass rock and the firth of forth.
On the clear day you can alloy's see over to the kingdom of Fife.
There are currently repair works happening so that the structural integrity can be maintained for future generations

Castle is set in beautiful scenery. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good. On nice day you could have a nice picnic and more things to see nearby.

Such an exquisite spot! This is a must visit for people who visit Edinburgh and have time. Its about 50 mins from main city. The roads are beautiful. You need to book the visit in advance by going to the website and booking the slot. Its free of cost, however you will receive a scan code and a mail which you need to show in the ticket house when you arrive. Car parking available, its free. Separate parking for caravans.

The castle, as mentioned in their website is closed for public now but the grounds are open.. Beautiful views overlooking the North sea.

We went on a Thursday so the place was nice n peaceful,hardly any crowd. Very clean toilets available for public. Really well maintained place overall.
Would visit this place again!

Super cool views! Definitely worth a visit. The castle is able to be walked up to the top and it’s just beautiful!

Beautiful stretch of coast and imposing castle ruins. Despite entry to the castle being suspended, whilst loose masonry gets sorted, the visit was well worth it. Nice little gift shop too.
