We had a very relaxing weekend staying in Burnside Cottage. It is situated in a lovely location with beautiful shrubs and flowers. There is a small stream running in the garden and adds to the pleasure of sitting in the garden. There are a number of walks in the local countryside. The cottage itself is very comfortable. It is clean and there is ample space for 6 people to live, The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are clean and well stocked with linen. This is an ideal location for a getaway from city life.

An idyllic setting for this lovely spacious cottage. Kitchen very well equipped and good quality beds and bed linen. We thoroughly enjoyed our
stay, excellent area for walking and not too far from local attractions. The host Janette was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely like to return! I can recommend the cottage without hesitation.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Burnside Cottage - the cottage was well equipped and homely, and in the light of the current Covid pandemic, was extremely clean and felt very safe. We received a lovely warm welcome from the host Janette, and her dogs, chickens and sheep - and even a red squirrel at the lounge window on our first day! The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, with loads to do - Menzies Castle, the Birks of Aberfeldy, the Killikrankie Pass, Stirling and Blair Castles, and of course, all the surrounding lochs, waterfalls, moors and countryside to walk. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here - completely stress free!

Just home from a lovely little break at Burnside cottage. The cottage is in an idyllic little area, with a large garden with free range chickens happily roaming around and keeping an eye on us. It was just gorgeous to sit out in the sun with a cuppa and listen to the burn every morning.
The cottage itself is very well equipped with absolutely everything you could need. Spotlessly clean and very cosy! The lovely owners are just next door should you need anything, very friendly people.

Our dog also had a great holiday, with tonnes of places to explore all day and a nice cosy log burner to snore in front of at night- she would recommend Burnside to all fellow pups looking to get away :)

We would all highly recommend Burnside for a prefect little get away.

We had a great long weekend in this cottage recently at very short notice after receiving a phone call on route to our originally booked holiday cottage that they were double booked. After frantic google searches and phone calls from Sterling services we found Burnside cottage and within an hour Janette cleaned the cottage and stocked it with a welcome pack of bread, chocolates and more for our arrival.

The cottage is located within several acres of privately owned ground shared by the owners house and another cottage. A lovely burn runs through the enclosed grounds and it looks and feels like a perfect country getaway.

There are some nice walks right from the front door and there are lots of lovely little villages and towns (and pubs!) within a short drive including Aberfeldy, Killin, Kenmore and Fortingall (the yew tree there is the oldest living thing in Europe). This Loch Tay area of Scotland is a lovely little corner of Scotland.

This is the only place I'd want to be when visiting . The owners are such lovely people, the cottage was spotless, it had everything you could possibly need and we had a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Avoid. Kitchen poorly equipped, cottage very cold, shower either scalding hot or freezing. Plenty of better places to stay locally.

We stayed in the Mill House, beautiful, comfy cottage in an an idyllic location. Would recommend to anyone!
