Lovely quiet place to bring the dogs, have a picnic, and beautiful views with swans. It's beautiful but I think with a bit of money invested and attention, it could be even more of a stunning place. Not sure if you can swim there in summer, then again also not sure you might want to...

A beautiful park centered by a gorgeous lake ... A serene walkway circles the lake ... Great for a relax walking, jogging etc ... It provides multiple little wooden piers around the lake you could utilize to feed the waterfowls, fish or simply enjoy the scenery ... A must place to visit ... Please don't forget to place your litters in the bins provided or take it with you ... Also there are plenty of parking spaces on the main entrance of the park ... Have fun and enjoy ...

Lovely walk around the lake and what a difference the sun, leave and flowers make around it.
It's not a massive area but we took a picnic which extended our visit. There were lots of people fishing and ducks on the pond to feed.

Good place for a walk around a beautiful lake. It's also a very good place for fishing.

A little bit of paradise on a sunny day, Hemlington lake.
We've got 9 baby swans are swimming this year. Hope & pray they all survive.

Beautiful lake with fresh air and sun exposure. There is jogging track which handy if you want to do some rounds, although some parts could be very muddy. Dog friendly too. Some chairs if you wanna bring your sandwiches and have a picnic.

Nice place to go for a walk. Fishing is permitted on the lake which is always popular. The lake itself is full of wildlife which is lovely to see. Unfortunately you get the odd few people to like to cause trouble (mainly youths who seem to have developed a habit of setting fires to trees/motorbikes) however the majority are friendly.
