Visited here for the first time today. Got a 4hr permit for the bait pond allowing 3 fish but managed to catch my 3 within 3hrs, all caught on the bottom with worm. 2 nice rainbows and a beaut of a goldie.

Very scenic, up in the hills with some awesome views. I'll definitely be back soon

After considering reserving a few lodges for my extended family's visit, I took a tour of the area in advance. Unfortunately, the owner was discourteous and declared the premises as "private property," despite the right to roam in Scotland. The site seemed untidy with piles of litter and old caravans in multiple places. It was a letdown, but I'm relieved that I checked it out before booking. I suggest exploring other options, don't waste your money here.

Had two visits to Woodburn in the recent past, both times I have been treated well with good chat and information from the baillif . Conditions were challenging but the fish that were caught did not disappoint, strong trout and we'll conditioned.

Would recommend to anyone looking for some good sport, peace and lots of fresh air.

Well stocked trout fishery with some very big fish. Separate fly and bait ponds. Some catering available. Only cons are access track a bit rough in places and it is very exposed if windy.

My partner booked this for me as a birthday treat , I can't recommend it enough absolutely stunning place , helpful friendly people and the fishing is top notch very hard fighting fish and the locals were very helpful advising flys etc..We stayed in one of the lodges which was as beautiful as the scenery..Watching the hares chasing the crows and sheep around the fields was hilarious..We will be back , thankyou woodburn fishery and holiday lodges .

Absolutely lovely weekend me and friends had in the spey Lodge.Lovely friendly owners and beautiful well maintained lodges and hot tubs.Will definitely be back.

Great place to fish had many double figures up Woodbury great days up the water staff are very welcoming and helpful love the place

I visited here while on holiday for 4hrs catch and release, very reasonably priced at only £16. Caught 2 fish which were of a good size and condition and fought well. Just wish I had more spare time to allow me to spend the day there. Scenery was also great due to location ????
