Small car park in Glen Coe that's at the start of a nice hiking trail into the valley. Going up is definitely worth the energy, as with only only a 30 minute walk you get incredible views over Glencoe whilst getting the feeling of being alone on the world.

We had a lovely sunny day, so I might be a bit biased, as it may look a bit less inviting when rainy.

As an additional point of information. Somewhere along the route (if I recall correctly, somwhere along the first 20 minutes of hiking) the route splits into two different trails. We went the lower route of those two which was but a steady, not to steep, climb. So very suitable for people who just want to do a nice hike. I think the upper trail goes up to the mountain ridge and provides a climb that's a bit more steep and maybe challenging.

There are so many amazingly beautiful views, and the green was so vibrant! I loved being out in the fresh air and taking it all in. This is a must stop, especially if you've been in the car for a while and need to stretch your legs. It's an easy hike, but it can keep steep at points, and it definitely takes your breath away both due to the beauty and physical exertion required.

Smallish car park, probably enough space for about 20 cars. Seems to be popular with campervans overnight, although there are no facilities.
Good starting off point for 2 Munros on Buachaille Etive Beag - Stob Coire Raineach and Stob Dubh.
There is a beehive cairn on the opposite side of the road so that you can identify the correct car park to use to follow the path up the hills.

As a very amateur hillwalker this is probably my favourite climb. The path leads directly from the car park to the middle of the ‘ridge’ connecting the two Munro peaks. The path is quite steep for a section where it aims straight up but it means you gain height quickly. The path is also very well made to this point. Some big steps that your knees will love on the way down…
Once at the top of this section you can choose which peak to aim for first. Everytime I’ve done this I’ve headed right/west towards Stob Dubh. The path here is decent and more gentle than the climb to the ridge. You’re rewarded with fantastic views up Glen Etive. Retracing your steps back along the ridge towards the second peak, Stob Coire Raineach, is straightforward, however the short climb to the summit is a little rougher. There’s a lot of loose stone/screw underfoot but it’s a short scramble with various paths possible. Again there are fantastic views from here over Rannoch Moor and up towards Glencoe Village/The Three Sisters.
In poor visibility this second peak could be difficult at the top given there is no set clear path.

The car park is quite small so if planning to visit here on a good day/weekend either aim to arrive very early or have a back-up plan. Unfortunately there are often motorhomes parked selfishly, I doubt this will surprise anyone, and because there aren’t no painted lines those who lack common sense waste space when parking. Not the fault of the car park, just the cretinous general public.

Great place surrounded with spectacular views,plenty munros to climb and nice we pubs near by for after your walk.

Good car park for doing buachaille etive beag as path up is from one of the corners of it, so if you plan doing these hills from the A82 side park here. It usually fills up quickly on weekends and Good summer days.
