AFCOOP - HYPERMARKET

Located inside the Al Maqtaa Mall. Good choice of variety of products. Fruit and vegetables. Butcheries. Fishmonger. Frozen. Bakery. Household supplies. Kitchenware. Skin care. Baby supplies. International food from around the world. Organic foods. Gluten free. Sugar free.
Electronics. Fridges. Washing machine. Microwave. Toys. Stationary. Clothing. Bedding. Lingerie.

On 9. of July in evening hours, my wife and me went for a shopping in AFCOOP market. When we arrived on payments terminal, we founded out that system has fallen down. They asked us to wait for couple of minutes, no problem. After ONE HOUR of waiting they wrote our articles manualy (as you can see on photo) .We would leave much earlyer but we paid like 100 dirhams for taxi to shop so we didnt want to go home empty handed. The managment of store were nowhere, nobody even came to say we are sorry or anything. We were so angry and frustrated, finaly we called somebody who was supose to be responsable and asked what is he going to do about us waiting whole hour because of their system fail. He responded: nothing!
So we were so angry and finally he gave us 3% discount. I mean i didnt ask for any discount, but if you offer one, 3% really? It was like 10 dirhams, sad but not funny. We are regular customers in Coop markets, its a huge and well known company, but in 2022 to arrive in situation that you see on photos, that you lose one hour of your time without any explanation, its a huge shame. I wanted to give one star review, but because of great people working in grill and butchery part, and kind people working on payment terminal, i decided to give three stars on this incident, but really it deserves only one

They have best deal of everything, the ready meals are amazingly cheap but its Very tasty.

Few years ago this place (old building) was called "Armed Forces Officers Cooperative Society". now its become a big shopping center with 3 floors, it would be famous attraction shopping for people. Armed Forces Officers Cooperative Society title been changed to AFCOOP. this hypermarket occupied complete 2nd floor with modern looks and department wise. ground floor will be under development with Banks, ATMs, branded stores and 3rd floor would be kids play center and food court.

I will recommend you all to visit them for your shopping needs. The mall was not crowded and availability of all facilities were there. It lacked of one thing and that was car wash services in their mall. They are advised to hire car wash services in the basement. I wanted my car get washed while i was busy in shopping. But unlike other malls they dont have car wash services.

Brand new hyper market, massive collection of goods. Competitive prices so far (opening offers till 3rd of January 2022) will evaluate the real prices after the offers period finish

Easy access to this new Hypermarket not crowded at all , it has good offers as other AD COOPS or Lulu , alot of varieties of fresh fruit and vegetables, good for calm shopping ,and very good for the Mangrove neighborhood and Danat Al Emarat Hospital
