I wish you could leave 0 stars. I wish any other surgery in this town would accept new patients.
Asking for an email to set up a phone call isn't a big ask...but they can't even do that, they just call, so you still do not speak to a doctor. They tell you to phone back to get put on yet another list for a phone call.
Just give me an appointment. If the doctor has enough time to sit and do admin phone calls, why don't they have enough time for a face to face appointment. I can't remember a time I was ever happy with this surgery since Doctor Evans left.

The worse surgery in Banbury. If there was -1 I would give them that. It's been 3 years now..that haven't been able to see a doctor with them and I have called more than 20 times. Or they just simply have only one doctor I dont know. I have been using then for over 5 years and been very happy with them before , but lately they are outrageous. Anytime I call after 5 minutes to half an hour from opening phone lines, I get told that all the appointments have already been booked for the day and to ring the next day. It does not matter how urgent your query is you always get the same answer. I wonder why am I paying NI taxes since I am not able to use medical service and care!? They are absolutely ???? useless!! I am changing them today!

I have been with this surgery for over 9yrs, it has gone down hill drastically. It's impossible to get the receptionists who are so rude and disrespectful that's if they even answer some times I have been on hold for over 40 mins only to be told ring another day. On some occasions I have been told to ring 111 as there is no doctor/nurse available to ring back. I would never recommend this surgery to anyone.

Unfortunately I cannot remember the dates as there have been multiple occasions I have rang the surgery but I did call this morning. I would like a phone call from yourself as I don't see the point in calling reception when the receptionists are the so rude

The receptionist are not helpful at all. Absolutely appalled by their compassion and tone. They don’t understand how frustrated the patients or patients family members would be. Absolutely no compassion and they just repeat what they have to say about ringing back without listening to what the patient has to say. Can’t even book for a phone call consultation with the dr for the next few days. We have to ring back when we ring back its ring at 8.30 in the morning or its ring at 1.30pm all the time. What is the patient supposed to to do when the matter is not life threatening at the moment but carrying on and not being seen could end up life threatening. An

Phone lines to doctor appointments always seem to be closed. Had to call 111 who booked me in for a telephone call with the GP between a time. GP called back 3 times in quick succession while I was driving and left a message to call the surgery back. Call them back for them to say I have to call in again tomorrow to go back on triage list. Not impressed when all you need is antibiotics for an infection

We find their receptionist and one of their nurses rude. We always feel like we are walking on eggshells with this clinic. My dad a 71 yr old who regularly visits the UK had his registration deactivated after being away for a few months. We tried to have him registered again in March 2023 and these guys kept asking for a whole bunch of stuff. As a result my dad had a stroke because no one would prescribe blood pressure meds. Ridiculous! Two years ago when my dad visited the same clinic to see a GP, they’re senior nurse or whoever that woman was, just barged into the room where my dad was being seen by another nurse and said “you have to pay for this visit because you’re not a Uk citizen! You wouldn’t like if I got free healthcare in your country would you?” I couldn’t believe it. We didn’t expect to get a free consultation anyway. It was just silly and completely unnecessary for her to do something like that. I’ve read some of the reviews on this clinic, surely someone needs to look into this sooner rather than later.

I am writing particularly about a nurse practitioner, Danae Lawrence. She is kind, hardworking, professional and deserve promotion. I don't have words to explain how she has helped my daughter who had infected eczama. Bless you.

This isn't a 1 star they don't have a 0. Receptionist are so rude when you call. Keep losing my repeat prescription letter when I hand it in at the letterbox. They lose It and try and make you out to be a liar. They don't care if you've got mental health problems. I would change doctors but no one is taking new patients. Stay away from windrush surgery they are the worst surgery in Banbury
