Great range of reasonably priced waterworks being operated from the jetty.

Plenty of parking and the cafe is great quality.

Great spot to jump on a ferry or just have a nice coffee and gaze out at the lake.

What a beautiful place, simply stunning. The car parks are a good size and are free to National trust members. The grounds have plenty of open space for the kids to run around, direct access to the lake itself for paddling, swimming and boating. There are plenty of well defined paths for walking and a cafe that serves great food, you can easily spend the day here.

Very kind and helpful staff in the ticket office. Took a boat from here to Bowness where we stopped for lunch. Reasonable value ticket. Generally a nice day out that’s worth doing. The boat was nice and stable with plenty of options for sitting inside or outside to suit the weather. This is the best place to start as opposed to Bowness or Ambleside as the parking is easier and cheaper. It’s also worth upgrading to the combined ticket with the steam train.

Just a hotel/resturant, an aquarium and boat tours here. Not worth paying for the car park. Wouldn't go back
