The location is great for an early flight the next morning. The room decor could be upgraded. I would have like more sockets, particularly by the bed side table, where the USB plug to charge my phone did not manage to fully charge my phone over night. However the restaurant is convenient and had a good variety for anybody. The service was attentive but non overwhelming.

I stayed for 1 night only, to catch an early flight from the airport. It was overall good value for money, but the hotel room decor was a bit dated in my bedroom, with scarcity of sockets. The bed was comfy, maybe too comfy for me, that I like a bit of a former mattress, particularly for my back pains. The restaurant had a good variety of food and the service personnel attention was was just right.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves a good meal and there's a nice lounge area near the lobby where you can hang out after a long day of traveling. Just a couple downsides - room was a little outdated, but not a big deal for just stopping by for one night before flying out. The king size bed is actually just 2 smaller beds pushed together. Not great for when you're staying with a spouse and they keep separating in the middle. I'm guessing the UK doesn't have the same measurements for King size, and the hotel decided to get as close as possible to US standards, but I'd honestly rather just have a single mattress that's a little smaller. The heated towel bar also didn't work in our room. Besides that, it was a pleasant stay.

Started off badly when receptionist couldn't give pleasant greeting or smile, remained off hand throughout transaction. Had asked for quiet room but was given room facing main terminal access road and traffic noises constantly. Air conditioning was not working in hotel and the receptionist could have been upfront with warning on this, it is very old and dated and requires overhauling.Front of hotel appears new and modern but once out of ground floor rest of building tells different story. The one thing that saved the day was restaurant food was suprisingly good and staff pleasant and attentive.

The hotel is great, did find the room entrance and bathroom a bit small and a tight squeeze when having a massive case after the holiday. But rooms where brilliant and beds comfy and warm. Breakfast is hot and filling and staff so friendly. Also thank you to the staff who do the night shift because they were so helpful and pleasant and helped us people who were tired and probs grumpy so thank you. Very close to the airport as well.

This hotel has been in need of improvement for a long time now. The rooms are scruffy and there are plenty of faults. This time the air conditioning in my room was broken and toilet didn’t flush. I only stayed for 5 hours so chose to be closest to the airport. The other airport hotels are better.

Unfortunately the air ventilation system in the room was out of order so there was no air flow at all, and the temperature in the room felt like it was 100 degrees. The windows do not open so there was no way to get any air circulation. When I complained about it they brought me a portable plug-in fan which helped but I had to keep the door to the main hallway propped open until I went to bed to get it cooled down enough to make it tolerable and breathable, which compromises privacy and security. Rooms where the air ventilation system is out of order should not be rented until the system is fixed. On a positive note, the food and service in the restaurant was excellent.

We have stayed here regularly, and always been pleased, but not on this occasion.

Firstly, the room we booked was not the room that we were given. Unfortunately I did not notice this until after I had left the hotel, although I did comment on the room rate at check in, which seemed extremely high. Over £40 per night more than the rate we had paid for a higher rate room the previous Thursday. The room was clean, but badly designed. The bed was comfortable.

The service at reception and in the restaurant seemed a little lacking compared with that experienced on previous stays. Of particular note was the attitude about our departure from our room. We had asked and been told 12.00pm check out. This was wrong, and the housekeeping supervisor made it very clear to us that she was not happy. It was one of her team that told us 12.00pm
