A very well kept castle ruin. Plenty of parking available nearby and seems to be popular with tourists and locals alike.
An excellent place to explore or walk the dog.
There are danger notices around the site but I didn’t see anything out of ordinary for a castle ruin site.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area

The castle was cool. Unfortunately probably wasn’t to safe to roam around in as the signs warned. But still pretty sweet to explore.

Cool castle ruins in the middle of the woods which were really easy to find. I got there on foot but there was plenty of parking that I passed.

The castle was cool, but the parking space a little bit earlier than the last destination which showed on the map.

Hidden gem that's perfect for photos. A ten minute walk from here and you're at the side of Loch Tay!! A notice board full of information about the history of this ruin is detailed and interesting. If you feel brave then visit at night...but be careful of the beheading pit (and loose stones)

It was a bad rain day so we waited at Shutters Coffee Shop until there was a break. We were fortunate enough to find a break in the rain and was able to see the castle long enough before the heavy rains came back. Even with the rain it was worth the visit.

Great castle ruins which are located right off of the trail way. Definitely worth the 15 minute walk from Killin.

A novel abandoned castle that you can explore. Parking down by the cemetery, quiet and peaceful a few minutes drive from the falls of Dochart definitely worth the visit if you are in the area seeing the stunning village. Well recommend especially as you can get in to the old castle (obviously enter at your own risk)
